Used to be a good place for pizza but not any more. I went in and ordered a pizza to go. When I got home which is a 15 min drive it was almost cold. The crust was so thin and the edges almost black. I waited half an hour for it and as it was a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza I know it was mine , but it looked like it had been sitting for a long time. It was hard and dry.

First time to visit. Our waitress was new but she did ok. Food that I tasted was ok. The sandwich I asked ahead of time if it was hot and told yes ended up not hot or toasted. I wouldn’t order it again. I also tried the cheese bread and to doughy for me. Not done enough or crispy. They may have been rushing tho we arrived an hour and a half before close and they were not busy. Upon getting ready to pay we were told there is a 3% charge to the customer if using a card. I think that should be on the menu or posted somewhere.

If you’re in the mood for pizza and near Iola, this is a good choice! We ordered the boneless buffalo wings which had a good flavor but a bit too much breading and were pretty small. We got the combo pizza which had a good amount of meat and their signature seasoning adds some extra flavor which we felt like it needed. The menu was large. The manager appears very hands on and attentive. Overall, it was a good experience and excellent alternative to Pizza Hut.

I was visiting the area and decided to stop and try this place. The atmosphere was nice and laid back it’s especially a family friendly restaurant I had the cheese bread appetizer which was very amazing paired with marinara sauce I had the homemade Lasagna which was great and had very robust flavors it worth getting

My son and I had the pleasure of eating lunch at Sam and Louie’s in Iola, KS today. Nice atmosphere, clean and absolutely spotless establishment! The food was amazing!! Very tasty – my lasagna was definitely the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten! Side salad was crisp and the dressing was pure perfection! On top of this – our waitress was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. It may have been my first time dining there – but by no means the last – we may have to make it a weekly adventure. Thanks for a job well done!!

I had what they call “pasta” here. It was an embarrassment to all things Italian and pasta. The sauce was lukewarm from a jar or can, and the noodles themselves were soggy. The only extra cheese available was the dried out sprinkle kind. I won’t be back.

Best gluten-free pizza I’ve had second only to Italy! Menus designate GF options. All the staff knowledgeable about the needs of patrons with Celiac disease — didn’t have to explain anything! Cook took her time to prevent cross-contamination. Will try their gluten-free pasta next visit!

So many things to complain about unfortunately. First of all, we were told it it would be ready to pick up in 20 minutes. So we show up in 20 minutes, and they had not even started or Pizza yet. And this happened every time we order from here. I order extra pineapple and I’m pretty sure extra pineapple is not 2 or 3 chunks of pineapple per slice. And the crust tastes like it’s fresh out of the freezer. It’s that cardboard box type of crust. No more sam and Louise for us.
