Sam Hicks is boasted as one of the best places to eat in town however I find it to be incredibly mediocre, dry food and a room full of broken arcade games I’m only coming here again if I feel like being depressed. The rotting ceiling tiles are a nice touch. If I hadn’t paid before hand I would of left after the first bite.

Hugh selection of items if there is something you want they more than likely have it. Very fair prices and good service. Also the taco salad that my Mom got was so nicely presented it really deserves a mention.

If this is the best that Spooner has to offer, I completely understand why the Spooner Blows bridge exists. Calling this food mediocre is being generous. Not only would I not feed this food to my dog, I’d rather eat my dog than spend another dollar at this place. In fact, I think I’m going to do that right now. Thanks a lot Sam Hicks, my daughter is going to be devastated.

Wow. This place is the real deal. I’m not sure why it is called a “drive in”, maybe for search results, but this place was awesome. Large menu of items. Delicious food. Great ice cream treat selection for desert.

Average service, large portions, and decent prices, but my family got sick from the food. We probably won’t eat there again but don’t be discouraged to give them a try.

Solid burger. A large patty that didn’t come out of a freezer box. Arrived too hot to eat right away. Hand-cut fries were also good, those aren’t easy to get right. Turtle sundae was also a quality product with plenty of pecans. Dogs enjoyed the patio and you can get beer as well. Nice people too, we’ll be back

As described in the name, real food abounds. I am a fan of their Mexican and malts. It is a window order drive in style but plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor. Please support them as highway 63 right out their door is under construction but you can still get to Sam’s. Definitely family friendly but does have beer. A must stop for me when in beautiful NW Sconnie.
