We had higher expectations for this place as the reviews are so high and the pictures looked so good. Unfortunately it was a big let down. We had the bagel and croque madam. The bagel was tasty but also a bit boring. Lacked flavor and even salt and pepper. The croque was very tasty but only after I had sent it back because the egg on top was completely undercooked and had lots of runny and snotty egg whites… after they cooked it a bit more it was good and the croque was tasty and had lots of sauce which was nice. But again, lacking seasoning. As a drink I ordered a cappucino but it was the worst I have had in Mexico.. I was watery and tasted more like an americano with added hot milk. Absolutely undrinkable
Service was friendly. Prices are outrageous though for what you get. Total bill around €40 for 2 breakfast dishes with some fruit and (bad) coffees. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. Way better food and coffee in the area for way better prices.

My favorite breakfast food is chilaquiles and this place did not disappoint. Amazing service with attentive staff. The Oaxacan hot chocolate is a must try. Definitely recommend if you’re in the Roma area.

Not the best food experience ever. We don’t understand all those good reviews. We’re truly disappointed with the food (it was very salty) and the portion sizes, especially considering the high prices.

Monse was our sever this morning here at Salve Roma. She was the most helpful and sweetest person. She was very attentive to us and made sure we had everything we needed. Now let’s talk about how delicious the food is here. I ordered the French Toast that came with strawberries, blueberries and ice cream. Best French toast in all of CDMX. I will definitely be coming back here before I head out.
