Not a very large dining room. The service was attentive. Prices are typical for a mid level Italian restaurant. The complimentary bread is very good. Serving sizes are generous. I ordered a chicken and mushroom baked ziti, but I needed more sauce as it was a bit dry. My partner ordered a spaghetti “supreme”, with olives, peppers, and mushrooms (I think.) He enjoyed his. Due to the limited options for good restaurants in this area, it’s nice this one is here.

I had the full especial which was Alfredo, bacon, red pepper flakes, and peas. It was suppose to be spicy, it was not it was lacking flavor. I was super disappointed. I didn’t have much hope for a gas station Italian place but with a 4.7 review I was hoping for something good. The portion was great and for the price its very reasonable. I was expecting maybe some bread while waiting for the food but thats considered a appetizer and you have to pay for it. You do get a crunchy tasteless piece of bread with your pasta though. At least the waitress was nice I was just very disappointed in everything else.

The Salvatoris franchise has become a well known name around Northern Indiana. It is home to some of the area’s best Italian comfort dishes. Whenever you visit, YOU MUST ORDER the fresh breadsticks with a side of the pecorino romano sauce. They won’t disappoint you, I promise.

For dinner I ordered Capellini w/ garlic butter, shrimp and sausage. The oasta was cooked perfectly and the sausage and shrimp were both succulent and bursting with flavor. My wife ordered gluten free baked ziti. We are so thankful that Salvatori’s offers a delicious gluten free pasta option safe for her to enjoy. Thank you all for always providing us a great dining experience with excellent customer service and quality plates of food.

The food was wonderful. I got the Supreme baked spaghetti and I asked for the half order which ended up being three meals for me. My boyfriend has the Sausage roll which was also very nice sized. Our drinks were never low either. They were expecting a large party and the owner spoke to us while he set it up, they found out it was going to be smaller than he originally was told and rearranged the seating taking it in stride and even took time out to ask how everything was and saw I couldn’t finish so he asked if I would like a box for later. My boyfriend calso ordered something for his son at home and it was all ready when we were ready to go. They thanks us for coming in and wished us a Happy New Year. The staff was very pleasant and took time to share a Happy New Year even though tables were filling up.

The food was awesome eaten here before had great service and food but this time we had great food all but the bread that came with my wife’s food was put in the juice and soaked. The service was bad the waitress was nice to locals and not so much with us. It was like we were a bother to her. If she would of been better she would of got a nice Christmas tip her loss. I guess should stick with the one on Washington center road always great service at that one.

My wife and I are commercial driver’s and we decided to try the food at Salvatori’s. I had a taste for pizza. We were staying at the Flying J truck stop acroos the highway and I phoned in our order for pick up to take back to the truck stop.
It was a Friday evening and the place was pack. The counter service was great and our order was ready to go in just a few mi utes.
Salvatori’s has an extensive menu but I chose a 14″ Pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza and my wife had the Baked Spinich Ravioli 1/2 order was more than enought for her.
We added a chocolate Canoli and I had the Cheese cake for dessert.
I was told by the owner that the construction next door will soon be a new truck stop. We look forward to enjoying the food at Salvatori’s again soon.
The only downside is the limited parking space. It’s not big rig friendly. We drive a 40 foot Expeditor Truck and I was able to get in and out with minimal difficulty a bobtail would have an easier time. But the lot is currently marked for no tractor trailers but that willchange once the construction is done.

Excellent food and service. Pizza crust was homemade and delicious. Breadstick appetizer is a must.

Also, Tom the manager was extremely kind and patient with a request of mine. The hospitality here was quite welcome. I’ll be recommending this place to my friends.

What a hidden gem. About 12 tables and they were packed. Breadsticks are amazing and the cheese sauce was delicious.

Wonderful service, great portions and just awesome. Wish I didnt live 2 hours away or it would be my Friday night spot.

Fill up your tank and your belly!!

We haven’t eaten here in years as we don’t come this way often but it was just as good of not better than we remembered.

Friendly staff, small dining room but very quick service. Enough space around to find somewhere to park the truck for dinner.

We got cheesey garlic bread, a Caesar salad and full portions of lasagna. Definitely enough for lunch tomorrow too. The Caesar is packed with the perfect ratio of crunchy croutons which is highly appreciated. The lasagna was better than your grandma’s, piping hot with a layer of meatballs inside. Everything was delicious, this will always be our go to spot when we drive through the Ft Wayne area. $55 was our total.
