We had an incredible baby shower at Salvatore’s of Elmont at the end of June. As usual, the food was delicious, and the portions were so large that every guest took home a doggie bag. Wine was also included, as well as garlic knots, pizza appetizers and zeppole. The waitstaff was very attentive and there was a large choice of entrees to choose from. We had our own private area which was setup beautifully and the owner was hands on the entire event. Even though it was a Saturday, we were not rushed at all, and the staff even helped load our cars with the baby gifts. It was definitely a memorable day, and I would absolutely have another function there and recommend it for any affair that you may want to celebrate.

I absolutely love this place. I came here on Monday with two of my friends. My friend has been there multiple times and recommended the place. The service was excellent. Isabella and Janet went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, the staff was attentive and made sure you felt welcomed and that you were happy. They offered wine and gave out garlic knots for starters. I ordered the salmon with crab meat and asparagus; it was delicious. The food came out quickly and did not take long. The atmosphere was pleasant, and they had an excellent choice of music. I definitely recommend this place! It’s a hidden gem. I’m coming back this week with a few friends because I was just delighted with the food and service.

Got a chance to try this place and it was definitely amazing! Everything was fresh and great quality the chicken cutlets very thin and beautiful sauce was delicious potato croquettes and pizza and garlic knots were top notch and the panelle was amazing and hard to find a place that has this Sicilian dish and make it this great! definitely will be back here! Only down side waited about a hour and half to get food at the table but everyone was so nice and the owner was great will be back soon!

Service is awful, waiter was at the table once all night. Garlic nots and little pizza bites are supposed to be served as appetizers and I had to ask for both. My pasta was never brought out and eventually I asked after I already finished my main meal. Water was also never served throughout the entirety of the dinner. The waiter was also seen picking nose right before bringing out the food. Male server mid 20’s with a beard is the worst service I have had in my life! Although the owner is a very awesome and generous women!

We went with several friends. They gave us garlic knots, two type pizza, wine and zeppoles for free. They were all good but the zeppoloe. Their red sauce is good. The fried calamari was rubbery, but the fried zucchini was good. I had the shrimp with clams, and it didn’t have any taste. I threw their red sauce on it and made it excellent. Everyone else taught the food was alright. They are way too busy for the amount of staff they have. They do give a lot of food for the price.

A couple months ago, my partner had his graduation celebration dinner here. I have been in communication with Anna, one of the owners, since early January. She was a joy to work with and always found accommodations for our ever changing party size and menu restrictions. We ended up with a party of over 20+ people including some with dietary restriction and time constraints. Anna effortlessly accommodated for both and we had a wonderful customized graduation dinner here. I would highly recommend having your special events here as the staff will make it a memorable experience for all! Thank you, Anna, for making our celebration extra special! Looking forward to dining here again soon!

Last night was my second time visiting this restaurant. The first time was great. It was a birthday celebration. Last night was also a birthday celebration for an eight year old. We arrived at 6:30. First we were led to a table that was wet and no one noticed. We were sent given another table that got rained on. Not one staff member came to our aid. Perhaps offer us another table or even bring napkins/towels to wipe the seats. We specifically ordered a pizza right away for the children first way before ordering the adult’s entrees. It took quite some time to get the pizza. Our server was not attentive. We had to wave him down to place the rest of our orders. We did not receive our entrees until 8:45. No one came to say sorry for the delay, we’re short on staff,or can we get/do anything for you. My potato croquettes were cold, spinach had no taste. Someone from our party didn’t receive their vegetable. Another didn’t get her spinach. The last time we brought our own cake, it was taken by the staff, sliced up and brought out right after our meal plates were taken away. We had to wait another 20 minutes for the birthday girl’s cake to be brought out. This experience has soured me on what I thought was a great establishment. Perhaps my first time there was great because it was the owner’s son birthday as well. There were a lot of extras for the children as well as the adults. Never going back.

This place was fabulous. No wonder it was voted best resturant on Long Island. The menu was huge with so many choices. The food was delicious and plentiful. The outdoor atmosphere and service was great too. Two thumbs up and will definitely go back.
