Here, Papà Reno at 84 and son Claudio are still cooking great Italian specialties that go back to his grandmother. Our customers are like family and we take pride in cooking for the famiglia…….. Great pastas with fresh sauces and local ingredients, our famous pizza with dough made from scratch, fresh leaf greens topped with our homemade dressings, an aged ribeye marinated for over a week, tiramisù and cannolis that have the old country flavor, and great wines from wineries that have been personally visited by our family! Customer service was excellent. They took care of a small problem with my appetizer. Flavors are off the chart delicious! Pasta was perfectly ‘al dente’, shrimp / seafood was not overcooked. And you can buy nice wines here to take home, wine you can’t otherwise find in the area. So I bought one to enjoy on an upcoming special occasion. I look forward to returning.

First Time trying out this diversified Italian Restaurant. The Special that was displaid caught my attention by all means. Although I love lasagna. My wife was debating on getting the special but got the common dish of chicken Alfredo. The special was really really good. Cheese bread. Everything from the dough cheese and mozzarella sauce was to die for. Great service. And both waitresses acknowledged our presence. Staff was well presented and family oriented. We were passing through with the family and we came across this wonderful place. The waiter was top notch, the food was exceptional, the kids are talking about the food yet the next morning. If we ever come through Muscatine again we will definitely be going back

Great food and service. My mother stated it was “the best Fettuccine Alfredo” she had ever had. Cheese bread sticks are the size of a medium pizza. They were very cheesy, hot and worth getting. I had the manicotti, it was good. The homemade Italian dressing was good on the simple side salads. Great service at dinner time. No issues would recommend and will return when I am in the area next.

We had a great time with great food! The pizza was good but the pasta was fantastic! The owners are real Italians not fake American Italian (big difference). We live in Italy for a time and we really enjoy authentic restaurant. They were really friendly and made us feel at home, even speaking with us in Italian. The coffee is spot on something many places mess up and the tiramisu was heavenly.

One star for bad (i.e. no) service. We’re from out of town and staying at a hotel nearby. We waited 15-20 minutes with no one coming to our table. There were several groups including some kids having dinner before their prom, so it was a bit crowded, but we also saw servers just standing around talking. Even went up and asked if someone could come help us and spent another 5 minutes waiting. Wish we could rate the food but we didn’t get any because we left. Currently at the Mexican restaurant down the street which has just as many customers and fewer servers and yet where we were promptly helped. The queso at the Mexican place is delicious.

Gem of a restaurant in Muscatine. I ordered the ravioli and side salad-the portions are nice and the dish was delicious. Also, the entire staff from Claudio to Abel are outstanding. It was in walking distance of my hotel (The Merrill) and a perfect spot to meet great locals and enjoy great food. 10/10 will absolutely be back.
