Amazing food. However, I came in to get 2 Papusa combos which are both 13.95, and I also got 2 waters. Now what confuses me is that my total was 38$?!? The only reasonable thing is to say that they charged me for each induvidual food item which is extremely deceptive. Now the food was amazing. But not 38$ for two small meals amazing. Make sure you get your receipt if you go here.

The place is easy to find I don’t leave near but I was near I was looking for a good place to eat and found this place had good reviews about pupusas I love them well we got there my 2 toddlers and I and was hoping there wasn’t too many people in there cause you know kids!! We went in there and stood there for like a minute didn’t know if I just sit down or wait to order right there till this lady came from the back she was nice told us to sit and she brought the menus with her as we sat ourselves she told us she was gonna be back to take our order but she took like fifteen minutes and my kids were starting to be anxious so I waited when she came she told me she had forgotten we were there so I said ok I kept my cool we ordered and I asked her if the food was gonna take long she said no so it took like an other 15-20 minutes anyway the pupusas were good no t great there was a fly near us there were 3 other tables besides us and my coke was not cold I couldn’t even drink half I ordered the combo which had 2 pupusas rice and beans I didn’t like the rice it was undercooked everything else was ok. Restroom was clean but the timing on their service is not good. And for that I gave 4 stars.

We were so excited to try this place out! Having all gluten free items was a huge draw for us! Sadly, our first trip will be our last. The restaurant was dirty, it took SO long to get our food, the presentation was poor, and it was very expensive ($55 for 3 people after tax and tip) for the food we received. The food itself was ok, but not very flavorful. The drinks were gross (chunky floaters we couldnt identify, maybe fruit? Looked like carrot?), and at $6 each, a big disappointment.

This was our first time to Salvodoreno restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and servers were attentive. The prices are very reasonable and there are many, many choices. The portions are large. The food is not quite as good as my El Salvadoran mother in law makes, but good.

We buy them in bulk and freeze leftovers. And we buy extra curtido. Call ahead for big to-go orders. One time we tried making them at home. It was a disaster- now we leave papusas to the pros.

Food was great service wasn’t.
When we arrived, it was not busy at all. I got a agua and I really didn’t like it, so I asked the server if I could change it and she said I would still get charged for all the drinks which was fine with me I wasn’t going to argue. I then order a appetizer and entrée.. 40 mins later I get my main meal.. and we didn’t have utensils or napkins, waiting and additional 15 min for those. then 20 mins after we got our entree we got the appetizer. I mentioned it to the server about how it was late and she just smiled and left. Also, the main sauce that comes with the appetizer, they didn’t have any more left. The food is good but not sure if I’d ever dine in again, maybe take out. Hopefully for the future they learn to apologize and warn people about the wait. Especially since it is pretty pricy

We got pupusas to go and they were delicious. Even after 2 days of being in the fridge, you can reheat them and they will still taste amazing. Definitely coming back
