Full disclosure: We only came here cause we watched an old Man VS Food episode.
Did NOT disappoint!
Great food, great service, the fritter from the challenge wasn’t as hot as expected until combined with the hot sauce!
Overall great experience and will stop by again if in the area.

Interesting eclectic restaurant that serves a wide variety of dishes from Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, Thailand, and even Hawaiian and Louisiana-inspired dishes. Not quite sure they mastered any of the cuisines, as the ingredients were there, but the flavors weren’t. I think they would benefit from some focus. Efficient service. Very small parking lot that is shared with other local businesses.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here but I use to come occasionally as a kid and the food is still good as I remember and the atmosphere is always a vibe.
I had completed their flaming balls of fire challenge when I was younger so I’ll need to try and see if I can do it again.

If you come to Raleigh Hills and don’t try Salvador Molly’s, shame on you. This place is Dope with a capital “D”. You will not find better service or food. The Owners work here and they will take care of you. For shizzle people. I am here for happy hour.

BEST MEAL IVE HAD IN PORTLAND. Unassuming hidden gem. we stopped in not knowing we were about to have the best meal of our entire trip. I had this huge burrito with jerk chicken. All day happy hour on Sunday. $4 draft beer? Unheard of. The owner was so sweet. He told us the story of Salvador and Molly. This man knows how to make delicious food. He makes the most incredible homemade dipping sauces. My son had a delicious smoothie and chicken tenders with curly fries. I could sit and eat here all day.

I liked (not loved) it. I was disappointed in the drum pan jerk chicken, there was almost no jerk seasoning, so it was moist but bland chicken. The sides were flavorful. My friend got the jambalaya and it was good from the one taste that I had, though the cornbread side was a bit dry. The service was good.
The restaurant is not as good as I remember it from visits years ago. Still good though.

What a delightful lunch we had! From the moment we walked in we were pleased: the decor and music lifted our hangry moods right away. Our food was all terrific (fish tacos, pork tacos, pork tamale & perfectly seasoned black beans) and portions were generous. The proprietor was fun and treated us like good friends.
The shared parking lot can get quite full and is on a hill, so be aware of that if you have mobility challenges – it’s worth it, in my opinion!
