After a long day of moving our friend to Frisco, I was nominated to find a place for dinner. I trusted Google and we ended up at Salute. From the moment we walked in, greeted by the hostess, who sat us right in front of the beautiful dessert case, I knew we had come to the right place. The ambiance was amazing. Our server, Ricki took amazing care of us, explaining the specials, drinks, dessert, she even laughed with us. She checked on us making sure we we didn’t lack anything, offering superb service! Thankyou Ricki!!!
We started with drinks, Creme Brulee espresso martini (my absolute fav) and a raspberry martini, both were divine. We had the tasty wedge salad, the perfect lasagna (the chef spiced it up for me because this Cajun loves spice), the most flavorful chicken parmesan (gigantic portion…you’ve been warned), and the Alfredo w/chicken and broccolini (the sauce should be bottled/sold). Everything exceeded our expectations! Thanks chef!!!
Now, the desserts!!! They are all so beautiful, we had a had time deciding, we wanted to try them all. We chose the Affogoto, Lemoncello cake, and the lemonberry mascarpone cake. All were very delicious and extremely satisfying! We dove right in trying some of each until there wasn’t any left. We’ll we couldn’t finish the mascarpone cake so we took it to go. As we’re waiting to checkout we realize we didn’t get pictures of the desserts, however, we meet the baker, Cara, a high school student. Yes, you read that correctly. This young lady is very talented and passionate about her work. We shared how much we loved her desserts and immediately followed her on Instagram, you should too (caras_crumbs). Thanks Cara, keep following your dreams!!!

I’ve lived here for 8 years and my husband and I randomly came across this restaurant on Google and our only regret is not knowing about this place sooner. The service was amazing, all of the dishes that we had were delicious and our server was very attentive in helping to make recommendations. Our server’s name was Andy! He’s super nice, helpful and intentional about the recommendations he’d make for what we normally eat. Highly highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent bruschetta! Very fresh ingredients. For main, we got bolognese and alla vodka… they taste great but seem almost identical. Tiramisu was okay- maybe we prefer ours with more booze. Overall, great experience.

I have been here more than 10 times. Always enjoy the food and the service. Bartenders are always spot on and servers are usually great. If your order pasta, you will get a good portion size. However, I laughed at the size of my $24 chicken portion size. I asked my server where the rest of it was and he told this is how they do it now…picture attached.

The ambience was very chill. It wasn’t difficult to get a table at all. The food was excellent. I was a little disappointed with the portion size initially but by the time I was done I couldn’t eat another bite so it turned out to be perfect. The flavor of the chicken picatta was incredible. Lemony and absolutely delicious. The service was the only thing that I wouldn’t rate as perfect. Our server may have been having an off day or something. I would definitely return!

Went for a date night and the overall experience was ok. Food was good but felt a little overwhelming based on the price, both in flavor and portion size. Service was friendly but not very attentive or warm. Felt a little rushed by the server as he was moving so quickly back and forth, and really didn’t give warm, conversational service. Not expecting to make a new best friend but based on the high rating and prices, I just expected more. Again, it wasn’t a bad visit, just not 5-star. We did enjoy our date night.
