Overall, I had a good experience at Salud Tacos + Tequila. I ordered the Steak Chimichurri, and the flavors were good, but for the price, there were a couple of small misses. The corn could have used more seasoning, and the steak wasn’t quite as tender as I expected.
That said, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the atmosphere was great—lively without being overwhelming and a nice spot to enjoy a meal.
I’d definitely come back and try other items on the menu, especially with the strong service and vibe they have going.

Absolutely stunning decor and very friendly service! We went around 3p and had no wait for seating and our meals came out fast, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The best steak I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant since leaving SoCal and the guava margarita was incredible. Highly recommend!

If I could give this restaurant more then 5 stars I would. Absolutely love everything about this place. From the friendly hostesses, phenomenal bartenders (Zaley and Nancy mixing and serving the BEST drinks around)with attentive service that treat you like family, and the food beyond any other Mexican dishes you will find in town. This restaurant is an absolute must go to because when you do you will be a forever customer too just like my family.

Opening night a new neighborhood spot, easy choice! The staff was friendly, our waiter was awesome and when thrown a request to choose my drink for me, chose a great one. The dip trio was delicious, our meals were flavorful and everything was perfectly seasoned. Can’t wait to go back until we try everything on the menu! 1000/10 would go again! So happy to have this place close to home!

Service and atmosphere was wonderful! They also offer outdoor seating. The margaritas were delicious and beautifully presented. The dishes were unique, not typical mexican foods. Will visit again!!

The margaritas are SO GOOD. The margarita menu is extensive, eclectic, and delicious! We tried the Pineapple Habanero (sweet, spicy, and adorably decorated Ina pineapple glass with dried pineapple garnish), MCC (sweet and yummy with a mangoy/strawberry flavor), a 4 flavor frozen margarita flight (mango, strawberry, peach, watermelon), and the Tamarindo (spicy and sweet with a tamarind dipped straw!).
The food looked great as it passed by us, but let’s keep it real — margaritas. This is THE PLACE for an extensive margarita, mimosa, and flight menu like you can’t imagine.
Also? Nancy, our bartender, is AMAZING. Be sure to get her if you sit at the bar. She is knowledgeable, fun, and reads customers like a savant. She recommended the guava frozen margarita when we weren’t considering it and she was totally right.

We drove from Johns island to try Salud. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Jabraun (sp?) took great care of us at the bar. I love that the stools and chairs in the restaurant are very comfortable. The outdoor patio is great for a meal or drinks on a warm day. My husband had the Salud Borrito. He said it was the best he has ever had. It was very big but he ate it all. I had wings and fries. (Don’t judge me) I love their wings! The salsa and cheese dip was fantastic, of course. The bar is fully stocked with whatever you like and the drinks are delicious.
Carlos treats us like family. Everyone who works there seems to be happy to be there. The atmosphere is wonderful. Parking is plentiful. Restrooms are clean.
