The soft shell tacos with Mahi Mahi were so good! Beware… their house salsa is pretty spicy! Guacamole was very good. A bit spendy for 3 people ($75). Sides are ala carte. Service was above average… had to wait a bit to get the check and pay. We’ll be back.

This is the second Valentines Day my husband and I have eaten at Salud. We each had Salud margaritas and then split ceviche de camaron, atun crudo, carne rellena, and the Salud tacos. Everything was incredible – would 10/10 recommend checking this place out!

I didn’t really like Salud that much, which was disappointing, because I had heard a lot of really good things about it. The ambiance was very cool, and the waitress was an absolute sweetheart, but I can’t really say anything else about it impressed me. They have a very limited food and drink menu, as I was told that they didn’t serve lemonade, or regular French Fries. The cheese quesadilla was pretty good, although that’s a pretty hard thing to mess up. The taco was awful, I only took one bite out of it. As I said, they don’t have regular fries, so I got the sweet potato fries. They were not good. In addition, the chips were awful and I didn’t finish the whole bowl.
I would not recommend going to Salud, and will not be back myself.

I just had the most exquisite dining experience this evening. It was our first time at this downtown Camden, SC restaurant.
Located inside a building that houses art galleries and an art supply store, the decor is not your stereotypical Mexican restaurant. Gorgeous, dimmed lighting, cast iron accents and an extensive barback to challenge the big-city bars.
After ordering, we were treated to warm tortilla chips and fresh, fantastic, house-made salsa by our lovely and helpful waitress, Anna.
My meal was 3 colorful mahi mahi tacos with house-made flour tortillas (a yummy explosion of flavors!), plus a side of rice and the most delicious refried beans I have ever experienced. What a fabulous meal!

Wow! Love this place! It is a beautiful place for a date night. It’s so romantic and the decor is just very very there’s no other word for it sexy! It is a very nice place to take your date on. It’s dark it’s got great Music beautiful lighting. The atmosphere is just so inviting. The margaritas top shelf selection was fantastic and kind of strong. As you can tell, I’m a little lit while I am doing this review (probably due to fishing all day with nothing to eat) I ordered the guacamole appetizer with chips and my boyfriend got the Quesadilla poblano burrito. I got the poblano quesadilla, which was excellent. It was more food than I can eat so it’s great that I can take it home and eat it later. What I really loved about this place as I’ve already mentioned is the atmosphere. You almost walked by it from the street until you see the sign on the window and you walk in and there’s the beautiful exposed, prick, and all the gorgeous variety of lighting the whole decor is very industrial. I would highly recommend our server, which was Nick! He did a great job, keeping us happy and checking on us. I give this place five stars definitely will come back.

Made a same day reservation and we were seated promptly when we arrived. The server was nice and gave some great food recommendations. We ordered the burritos veracruz and the Baja tacos. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dishes, though the fish in the tacos could have been seasoned a bit more. My only complaint is that the adult beverages were very weak. I’m looking forward to visiting again to try more dishes!
