“Salud to Salud!”
Tucked away in the heart of Las Cruces, Salud is the kind of spot that makes you instantly relax the moment you walk in — jazzy tunes playing softly, a laid-back vibe, and plenty of seating options whether you want bar energy, cozy indoor tables, or fresh-air patio feels. The menu is surprisingly creative with tons of vegan and vegetarian choices (and they’ll happily modify just about anything). I decided to branch out and try their vegan tamale, and wow — easily one of the most unique takes I’ve had! It’s served wet style with a rich sauce poured over the top, and it totally worked. Pair that with a glass of their perfectly brewed iced tea and you’ve got yourself a solid meal.
The service was spot-on from start to finish — several friendly faces checked on our table throughout, which always makes a difference. And bonus points for the little gift shop attached to the restaurant — it’s such a charming touch. Salud really nails that small-town comfort with big flavor and genuine hospitality.

I expected to love this place, but found the food super disappointing. I ordered the arrachera and the green chile bombo. The arrachera was bland. It tasted like absolutely nothing (except hot), and the meat was tough. The bombo was better, but the donut made the whole thing taste soggy. Chocolate tre leches cake was okay. Our server was great though, and service was quick.

In town from Phoenix Arizona and met family up here….I got the half order of French toast, basically 2 triangles, and although it was really good, I probably won’t order it again due to the price. Uncle got the All American which he enjoyed, his wife got the chicken and waffles, she said was OK. My hubby got the smothered burrito which was phenomenal. We also got the mimosa flight, good but strange how they did it, just saying. I can’t remember our servers name but he was adorably cute and attentive.

This is a great spot any day of the week for good food, good beer/spirits, and a great laid back and welcoming atmosphere. My wife and I go here at least 2-3 times a month, one of our favorite places to eat. I usually always get the Spicy Hawaiian Burger, and my wife usually gets the Smoked Salmon. I’m not a fish person but my wife swears by it.
If you want a place to eat and not be disappointed then this joint is the one for you.

Very chill spot. Came here with our two kids after another restaurant had a long wait. We loved the patio. Kids were given wiki sticks which kept them happy. My wife loves her salmon. My paleo meal was really filling and excellent. The children liked the burger and fish and chips. Waiter was friendly too. Good beer selection.

I think this is decently solid . First I should start of by saying that our waitress was fantastic and on top of things. Although the restaurant was somewhat busy, it only took about 10 minutes for our food to arrive, and we were a relatively large group. When I first got my food I wasn’t entirely blown away . The burger itself was kinda mushy on the bottom, almost like the gates of the Atlantic ocean opened upon the poor sponge–like surface of my lower bun. Okay that may have been an exaggeration, but still what I would consider a viable complaint. I really couldn’t care less and ate it all the same . The fries were great, just a little salty. Overall this was a decent restaurant that isn’t too pricey if you choose the right items. Would recommend overall .

Love this place! Great vegan and non-vegan options. Friendly waitstaff. Something for everyone. My partner is vegan and they even had 2 different kinds of vegan cheesecake. Prime rib on Saturday after 3pm. Brunch menu on weekends. New menu just updated. Large tequila selection. This is my favorite restaurant in Las Cruces. A must try.

Salud did an amazing job with the food for a holiday party at our home. They were happy to work with me in planning a menu that wowed our guests. The price was reasonable, the quality was top notch and the butter cake… unbelievable!! They were prompt with delivery and will be our first choice next time we need catering!

This is my first visit here, but it won’t be me last. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Las Cruces. The waitress Sam (female) was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of the wines available and the food menu. The building is clean and well maintained. The Pasta Margherita was delicious, and we added chicken to this meal. It became even more amazing.

02/08/2025 at approximately 6:00 PM my sister’s and I were celebrating birthdays at Salud. We had been here before and had a pleasant time. We sat on the patio because the weather was beautiful and atmosphere relaxing. We ordered alcohol beverages. Our server dropped 2 of the drinks splashing 3 of us with the drinks. That remaining drink that survived was not as ordered. Our shirts and pants were stained from the bloody Mary. She apologized stating she’s been doing this for 6-7 years and this had never happened. The food was good but not enough crackers provided with the antipasto so we requested more. We were not compensated or offered a discount and were charged full price for the drinks. It put a damper on the evening and she only returned once to check on us during the time we were there. We requested the heater been turned on so we could dry off and get warm. We were all disappointed with the experience but rallied on to have a good time. We wished she could have made the visit better but it appeared as if she chose to basically laugh us off. I understand accidents happen but her attitude needs a serious adjustment. We were in a hurry to leave and should have spoke to the manager about the incident. Left upset and disappointed.
