We sat at the bar downstairs to get a pint prior to a show at the Evening Muse. I got a Czech Pilsner side pour which was awesome. If you like trying different type of beers this is your place. The food upstairs is awesome.

Great spot!! Food was fresh and incredible, and the coffee was good. Their interior design and coffee cups are amazing. Very surprised to receive such a high quality meal and portion size for the price I paid.

The staff was kind and engaging. Very much recommend!!

Charlotte is NOT known for its pizza but when you find a great place that its known mainly for their beer, wine and coffee, the foodie in you becomes super curious. My curiosity doesnt always favor but in Salud it always does. Their pizza is anything but typical. I recently went and tried two other pies rather than my typical tenderoni (pepperoni) but glad I got out of my comfort zone. Their service is friendly and the location is prime. Down stairs is their bottle shop where you can order and enjoy just the same as the upstairs typically known for their coffee however also has beers on tap and wine. I personally prefer to sit out on their small side porch if weather permits but the upstairs is great with all the comfy seating! Cheers~

Salud Beer Shop, nestled in the NoDa neighborhood. This joint is a beer lover’s paradise, serving up brews by the can and tap, wine, and they even have non-alcoholic options for those taking it easy. With seating for 5 at the bar and about 25 in the dining area, it’s cozy, intimate, and perfect for catching up with friends or making new ones.

When I strolled in, the TVs were buzzing with the excitement of the Euro soccer game, making it the ideal spot to kick back and enjoy a pint and a pizza. Parking? No worries there! Just a hop, skip, and a jump to a public parking garage that’ll set you back $5 an hour. Not too shabby for NoDa.

The menu at Salud is short but sweet, featuring pizza, meatballs, salads, and a couple of sandwiches. But let’s be real—I came here for the pizza, based on rave reviews from the local foodies. They’ve got a killer weekday lunch special: a cheese, margarita, or pepperoni pizza and 4 wings for a cool $15. Can’t beat that deal!

They offer 11 different 12-inch wood-fired pizzas, with vegan cheese available for those plant-based pals. I asked the bartender for his top pick, and he steered me towards the “El Gordo.” This pie comes loaded with house red sauce, mozzarella, a dollop of ricotta, thin slices of meatball, salami, basil leaves, EVOO, sea salt, and a drizzle of house-made hot honey.

The “El Gordo” arrived fresh out of the oven, piping hot and looking like a million bucks. Each slice was a work of art, with a slice of salami, a thin slice of meatball, a dollop of ricotta, basil leaves, and a drizzle of hot honey. If I had one tiny critique, it would be that the meatball could’ve been a bit more generous. One small sliver per slice left me wanting more of that meaty goodness.

The red sauce was on point—sweet, just the way I like it. The mozzarella was plentiful, maybe even a bit too plentiful, as it turned the crust a bit greasy and soggy. And while the hot honey was a nice touch, I wish there had been more of it to really amp up the flavor. The crust itself was on the softer side, so if you’re a fan of a crispier bite, I’d recommend asking them to cook it a bit longer.

All in all, Salud Beer Shop is definitely a spot I’d return to, especially with a friend to share a pie and some wings. And if you’re a beer connoisseur, this place should be on your must-visit list.

Love the can beer selection and what’s on tap. Super friendly staff including props from the owner for selecting one of his cans. Ordered some fantastic meatballs and wood fired pizza and ate it right at the bar. Lively crowd and good music. Will be returning.

I saw a sign on the street that said we have pizza upstairs after visiting their store and decided why not, let’s give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised to try some of the best pizza in CLT. it’s different than normal, and a little pricey but 100% worth it. This is their margarita pizza and it’s delicious. Amazing sauce, great cheese, and good crust. We also ordered coffee and it was great. As you can see it’s a bourbon pecan latte and I was enjoying every sip. Great place for a quiet, not-packed, eating experience in Noda.

Honestly, I just came here to pass the time while we waited for another bar to open up down the street. When I arrived with my friends it was VERY quiet and we kind of felt awkward when we arrived just because of how quiet it was. There was no music at all. They have a big open floor plan with plenty of seat options to choose from. From regular dining, it is tabled to a more lounge couch, sofa style. Their decorations were chic and modern, and they also had merchandise if you wanted to buy something. The only thing off about the place was that they didn’t have music playing at all and it wasn’t until about an Hr later when we realized they turned the music on so the vibe instantly changed after. We didn’t stay too long. Just ordered a glass of wine, and that’s it. I definitely would come back, though again. It seems like a cool spot to chill at if you don’t feel like walking far.

I heard that Fūd at Salud was closing, so I wanted to try some waffle wiches before it did. When we got there, they had flyers saying they were moving uptown so I guess they aren’t really closing.

We ordered way too much food, but we did get to try all of the savory waffle wiches. We got the special (pizza with meatballs), the Jason Gi-Ham-Brie, the peanut butter/banana/honey/bacon, and the chicken and waffles. I really liked all of them. I thought the ham and Brie could have used more peaches. The rest of them were really good. The peanut butter banana might have been my favorite, but it’s hard to pick one.

They will bring your food upstairs to Salud Cervicia too! There isn’t a ton of seating at Salud, but upstairs is a lot nicer and more spacious.

The service was good, the food was delicious, and I would definitely come back for their food again!

Came here the other day. The male or female bartender still undecided was RUDE. I came in with a friend and wasn’t greeted at all. Just stared at by the bartender while me and my friend looked over the menu. We were the ones that had to say hello. It was very awkward. Customer service either makes or breaks a business. Some of the worst pizza comes from salud and I would definitely not recommend the meatballs.
