Food took about 45 minutes to come out and was not hot, barely warm. We came in on MN deer opener about 5:30pm well before the place filled up. One table near us that put their order in just before us saw their food and left without eating it. Burgers were small and not filling, even with (ultra thin) bacon on them. The brioche buns were bland and boring. Mashed potatoes were just ‘instant’ potatoes, the server even warned me when I ordered them. Coleslaw was okay.
Server must have been fairly new and didn’t know a whole lot, but I can understand being new. She did hustle so we gave her a decent tip. But we go to a restaurant to eat food, and the food did nothing to tempt us to return again. The poor quality of food was VERY noticeably worse than many of our past visits. We will not return again.

We had the cheesy tacos. Brisket cheesesteak sandwich. The creamy wild rice soup was amazing. Everything was excellent will definitely be back. And bring the kids there’s a game room.

We started sitting at bar but moved to table. Was the Fishbowl last we were there.
We came to early for Monday chicken special. Does not start til 4 pm. I had Brisket cheese steak sandwich, baked beans and Mac n cheese. The beans, yum. The brisket sandwich was great. My husband had chicken sandwich but said it was ok. The bloody Mary was loaded. Will be back for Monday chicken. After 4 pm. The service was very good. I think Lauria was our waitress.

Went there for lunch. August 15th 2025 Bartender was excellent. Drink right away. Burger was perfect. People from out if state were treated great from the regular customers. Some reviews said only catered to regular customers. Not at all. People you won’t be disappointed. I was there a year ago and same experience

This place HAS to be given 5 stars, I mean WOW!!! New place/modern vibe, service was excellent, the menu super unique including bison burger with huckleberry spread and EXceLlent sirloin…on the KIdS menu!! Update: I’ve been back a few times since my initial review and the food has been great every time! This has quickly become my favorite BBQ place! The pulled pork sandwich can not be beat! There is a plethora of sides to choose from and they’re all great!

Tried out Salty Steer breakfast when our morning was rained out while camping near Webb lake. Had the brisket cheesy hash browns with over medium eggs. Was hot, delicious and eggs were cooked perfectly. I would definitely order it again!
