The best seafood in the area! The owner is very friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing. The eat in area is small but very clean and charmingly decorated. They have big bottles of cold homemade cocktail sauce and tartar sauce on the tables which is a big plus for me. If you want some really good seafood, this is the place in Wilson!

My brother recently told us about this hidden little gem in Wilson, so we ordered ahead (take out) for a special family dinner. The shrimp, flounder, and fried okra was wonderful, not greasy or heavily breaded. The owner was friendly and very kind to us, and she had our order ready promptly. I had Salty Shores Seafood for my birthday yesterday! The food was amazing, some of the best seafood I have ever eaten! I had trout, shrimp, & oysters! The seafood here is always fresh made to order so there’s usually a wait and I don’t mind that especially when I’m getting fresh food. I can’t say much about the side dishes as I haven’t really tried them but the seafood is the best in Wilson. The place is definitely a hidden gem and worth checking out. It’s a tiny establishment so it always seems like a long line on busy nights like Fridays but it well organized and moves relatively fast considering the amount of orders they get it’s b st to call in and place your order I guarantee you will never return to that old run down place called the mayflower
