Not much of a grilled chicken fan but I enjoyed the burgers ,there could have been a bit more sweet chilli on the Aussie burger.
The chips where my favourite as they layered the chips with chicken salt where other places lack.

First time and definitely not the last time! Awesome selection of burgers and such good value. I had the USA Chicken burger and it was delicious, fresh, fat and tasty. Next time I’ll try the Japanese burger. Seriously good value for money! I’m from Avalon and there’s a burger place which starts with an F… $20 for a burger, such a rip off compared to Salty Rooster.

Service was friendly and the order came out fast enough. However they’ve gone from thick to thing chips. Chips were overcooked and had no substance to them very disappointing but the burgers are alright for their price point

I haven’t been to salty rooster in a number of years, and was in the area today so decided to give it a go. Great service and my order came out fairly quickly. You can’t go past the located too – across the road from Queenscliff Beach. I settled on the BEO roll – bacon eggs onion and hollandaise sauce. The onion was a bit under cooked – would be better with either raw onion or really barbequed. The hollandaise didn’t really work with the bacon and onion (obviously if it was just egg it would work). The roll also cost $10.76 (with surcharge) which is a bit steep. The bun was fresh and delicious. I think I’ll be back to try the chicken burgers for lunch or dinner, however.

Not worth the hype. The burgers are nothing special — you can barely taste the sauces, and the cheese tastes cheap. Tomato and lettuce were fine (yayy), but the chicken was quite bland. Overall tasteless. I ordered double chicken and it didn’t seem like any more than the regular burger.
We ordered online and the estimated ready time was off by around 30 minutes (to be fair, it was Sunday lunchtime). Overall, I wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t go back.

Great little shop at the Queenscliff end of Manly Beach.
This place is immaculately clean and well presented. The service is efficient and turnaround fast as all burgers are made to order.
The Vietnamese Burger was A1. Chicken wrap and the nuggets all drew high praise. The food was fresh and hot.
BEO burger and BLT wrap also good.
Highly recommended.

The worst chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Chicken was stringy and chewy. Chicken nuggets were tasteless, cold, and floppy. Fries were like really bad fast food fries, so edible but unsatisfying. Price was high, but it has no competition so not shocking.

15-20 minute wait for a pretty average bacon and egg roll to be honest.
Bacon was anaemically underdone, the fat was just fatty. Either crisp it up or take it off!
Disappointing as they say it’s supposedly the best burgers on the beaches.

Chicken burger in a salad wrap is a great gluten free option. Holds together well and big enough to fill you up. They did leave the avocado off though! Chicken burger was very tasty with plenty of flavour. Huge wait times on weekends always super busy. Great spot for takeaway on a sunny day.

Took very long time to get my order. Noticed staff shuffling order around to whichever can be filled first which means person who orders after you will get the order first. FIRST IN LAST OUT? Staffs were busy flirting to each other and giving out free foods to their friends.
My order took 40 mins.
