I actually really liked the food and drinks here. I ordered from them three times during my stay and my favorite was the Mahi fish sandwich, although the fish tacos were pretty good too. And when they ask if you want fries with that just day yes, they are worth it

The live music pool side was great! The large shallow end of the pool was perfect for our family to relax and have fun with our toddler. Kayla served us drinks and food poolside and she was attentive and even hooked us up with some extra condiments to take back to our room. It was a great afternoon at Salty Rim!

We had 2 cocktails in a plastic cup and 2 diet cokes for the kids in a special souvenir cup – at the pool – and we payed over 70$ for that with 20% tip automatically included.. They serve but they dont pick up the trash / empty cups. The Poolarea is dirty, we asked the waiter for something to clean our table – he said he has nothing to do so, just some napkins. Like what? How do you keep the bar clean?

Kristina is absolutely amazing! The pool bar experience wouldn’t be the same without her. She’s super friendly, fast, and knows exactly how to mix a perfect drink every time. Whether it’s a frozen cocktail or something custom, Kristina delivers with a smile. The vibe, the drinks, and her energy? 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!

We sat at a table. Waitress took our order at the table then brought our food in takeout boxes and a paper bag. Fancy drinks(expensive margaritas and such)were in disposable cups. 20 percent tip added directly onto the bill. Food was fine. The service absolutely sucked and it’s obvious nobody cared because they got their tip regardless. The waitress disappeared and had to go to the bar to get my mustard packets for my 20 dollar burger. Yes, packets of mustard. Not the cheeseburger in paradise you should expect. Might as well just sit at the pool and order. The only people getting served in the dining area are the waiters.

Very rarely leave poor reviews. However, this pool bar’s service is terrible. Food arrived 1.5 hours after we ordered it. Cold wings. Sent them back and asked to just have them removed as I wasn’t waiting any longer. Seemed unphased, as I guess this is normal operating procedure here. So in the end, a chicken sandwich not served as ordered (wife was too hungry to send it back), and two cans of Corona, with their 20% TIP, $42.00…
Tipping in the USA is absolutely out of control. This resort takes their 20% as a mandatory charge. TIP (To Insure Prompt Service) is supposed to be a discretionary add on by the customer. Here in the US, (yes, I’m an American) it has become a way for restaurants to get the customers to pay for their staff. It’s unacceptable, and I think Americans have about had it. What it has done to a place like this is guarantee an income to the Staff with no expectation that they will provide good service.
This place won’t survive. They have already abandoned a partial build on the property. I wouldn’t come back here and I would never purchase one of their units. It’s not going to end well for those who have.

While a beautiful and comfortable place to spend the day- our experience was subpar. Through no fault of the waitress, as she was severely overworked and handling too many tables, the service left something to be desired. Our food was average at best, the drinks took forever to be delivered, and half the food (after being written down and ordered) was never placed. We went to the bar to order the food after realizing it was never coming and the service there was lacking as well. When they still got my food order wrong, i approached the bar to quickly fix it and the bartender wouldn’t even look at me. When ordering normal bar drinks (vodka beverages, not themed), we were charged for top shelf liquor without asking. Overall, this was a disappointing experience.

The food was good. I ordered the cheese burger for my daughter. There were only three tables occupied, but we had to wait 20 minutes for the burger. It was then served to us in a plastic bag in plastic dishes with plastic cutlery at the table. This is not sustainable and I cannot therefore recommend it. The service was minimalist – the already integrated tip of 20% is not justified from my point of view. For environmental protection but also because of the poor service a no go recommendation.
