Very, VERY impressed with the shrimp roll and lobster roll combos with fries we picked up tonight! Loved the fries with crab, bacon and cheese! Opening the boxes revealed food that looked exactly like the pictures they advertise which was awesome to see. Everything tasted great!

Photos do not do justice to what is (for us at least) THE BEST lobster roll we have ever had. Salty’s was a good vendor at Blue Ridge Rock Festival 2022. We hope they are back again in 2023 so we have another opportunity to support and enjoy these amazing food crafts!!!

Lobster rolls and both types of aoli sauce were fantastic. Lobster was delicate and full of flavor…not bland or rubbery like I usually get here in Roanoke. Is it pricey? I guess, but it’s Lobster not a cheap ingredient fast food meal. I absolutely love seafood and unless I cook my own I usually don’t find seafood I enjoy in Roanoke so this was a VERY welcomed discovery. We will be back!

We ordered the Classic Lobster roll and the Kittery Crab roll. Both sandwiches were way smaller than expected but they were tasty. The Lobster roll was my favorite. It was loaded up with chunks of delicious lobster and was even more yummy when dipped in the butter and seafood aioli sauce.

I’ve wanted to try Salty Lobster since moving here & was SO disappointed. We spent $50 on one order of loaded crab fries and a lobster roll. The lobster roll was ok, but it was served on a hot dog roll and not at all worth the price. The crab fries were shockingly small. Cold crab topped with bacon bits on a tiny amount of fries. Went to the set up in Roanoke today on July 5th and was very disappointed. Compared to last year, the prices have went up and the quality of the food has went down tremendously. You HAVE to get a combo from them with fries, and you can’t get a standalone lobster roll, which is $25 (with tax ~$30. The lobster roll they give you comes with a cheap hotdog bun and almost shredded meat with no big chunks. The fries were undercooked, had NO seasoning and were very flimsy.
Once again, they were decent priced and good quality food in the past, but it seems that they’ve lost their way and have forgot what made them very popular in the first place.

On the extremely rare occasion I see this food truck it’s been good, I went to your website though to see if I can track where the truck is (really craving seafood) and a lot of your descriptions still have the auto typed things in the boxes. Don’t know how new of a website this is but it screams rush job and unprofessional. Hope this helps you improve.
