Five stars isn’t enough for The Salty Lime Cantina! We’ve been multiple times and keep coming back for more. The island vibe is on point! Love the inspired decor and lively atmosphere. But the real stars are the servers, Danielle and Michael! Their service is top-notch and always make us feel at home.
One HUGE bonus, our dog loves the deck & they’ve always loved him too.
Now, onto the food… Taco Tuesday is a game-changer with those $2 veggie tacos, and happy hour margaritas for $5 are the perfect deal every day. ($6 for my favorite flavor, MANDARIN!) Can’t go wrong with the burritos, enchiladas, and their (WARM!) fresh tortilla chips either. Fresh ingredients, great prices, and a margarita selection? We’re hooked! Highly recommend for a solid Mexican fix in Palm Harbor!

We had a very disappointing experience at The Salty Lime Cantina. The wrong food was brought out, no one checked on us or offered refills, and we left with an uncomfortable sense of being overcharged. A 20% automatic gratuity charge and a 3% credit/debit processing fee appeared on the receipt, even though we paid cash—hidden charges. A manager figure offered no real apology or remedy. The food itself was good, but the overall service and handling of charges left a negative impression. I don’t plan to return which is sad because I have always loved this place.

We stopped here on our first day of vacation in Palm Harbor, and this restaurant absolutely set the tone for an amazing trip. From the moment we walked up, we could smell the food and knew we were in for something special. The vibe was perfect cute, welcoming, and beautifully decorated.
The service was wonderful. Every server we interacted with was so kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better.
The food itself was incredible! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The elote was a standout not only gorgeous but absolutely delicious. The drinks were also spot on. We didn’t even stop to take pictures of our meals because we were so excited to dig in, but we did snap a photo of dessert. The churro was perfectly crisp and tasty, and the flan and tres leches cake were both rich, authentic, and delicious.
I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop in you won’t regret it! They truly helped make our first day of vacation so special.

Started out with spotty drinking cups which were replaced with Styrofoam cups. Ordered iced tea and after 15 minutes was told by waitress she could not find tea bags to brew tea. Took quite some time for appetizer to come out after waitress said she would lite a fire under kitchen staff. Waitress was friendly and seemed to be training another girl, seeming to forget about us and questions we asked. Same owners own Thirsty Marlin next door, wonder if they have gone down hill also. Management needs to be talked to at this location.

Well by far best visit we had today. We continued to hold on as most of the service here has slacked. They went a little down hill. Was glad to hear our favorite server from Ritas is now working some shifts here, so we decided to go back. Glad we did. Brought Mom in for her Birthday and her Margarita Danielle (our server) recommended got mom in over her heels to say the least! Was so delicious and huge. The food had enough for us to take some home. Portions were great and the flavor on point. The 20% added is no issue as most places are going to it understandable. Danielle is always on point with drink refills and being attentive. Cleaned up all messes and just overall the reason we came. Will be back when she is working.

We had the most wonderful waitress “Penelope” Friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Salsa, tacos and margaritas were amazing. The last few times that me and my friends have come to this place and sit at the bar. Daniel has been beyond awesome, friendly and and always making sure that we’re good with our drinks and food. Definitely gonna start coming out to salty when he’s working the bar. He makes us want to continue coming back every time. Daniel needs to be recognized for his work! Keep the great work Daniel and thank you providing us with beyond awesome service!

Quiet Day here but didnt stop the 3 staff members from making us entertained. Danielle our server referred amazing entrees. She didnt sell anything short, she had sold us with her options of tamales and flautas. For our first visit, this was great. Indoor, outdoor seating what else could we ask for. Flavorful food, great drinks and even more fun was their staff. We are looking for home in area and will be back!!!

Got a table, water placed on the table then waited for over 20 minutes with no staff attention for even a drink order. This place was not even busy. At 1 point a waitress looked at us and nothing. We got up and left and a young waiter said have a great evening. Called after we left and the bartender apologized. The fact that they charge 20% automatically may actually cause this issue. There’s no motivation for proper service.
I would be ashamed if I managed or owned this business. WON’T BE BACK.
