We have been remiss in not trying the Salty Lime Cantina as we live nearby and friends had recommended it. So this evening we enjoyed dinner at the bar. We had very attentive service from Katlin. Unfortunately for us we missed their happy hour which runs from 3pm to 5pm as we aren’t early drinkers. But DH enjoyed an Altos Margarita that is a double in most other places. I had a decent house Chardonnay. Chips and salsa were tasty. DH really enjoyed his Rosa Vieja tacos with beans and rice on the side. My Don Carnitas tacos were delicious! The flavors of the pork and grilled pineapple blended perfectly. We wish happy hour was later but we will be back on occasion.

Salty Lime was really good back when they opened. And it has really gone down hill again and again. Last night was the last time I will ever eat there. Me and my wife sat at the bar. Service from the bar tender was non existent. Very new but that is management’s fault for not training properly. All of the basics were not there. Too many to post here. After we ordered she said we can expect a 45 minute wait because the kitchen is backed up. The place was 1/2 full. This isn’t the first time we heard that here. The food sucked – looks like it was thrown together by a child. The tacos were dripping in liquid and the rice was dry and old. Couldn’t eat it. After 10 minutes waiting for the manager he finally came out and offered a gift card. I told him thanks and we waited and waited. The bill came and he was washing trays and forgot about the card. I think this place is struggling.

Such good food! Pleasant and attentive server. Great atmosphere and cool decor! Someone got my order wrong but I didn’t even care it was that good. Plus the hubby shared his. Really big portions!

Totally great spot. Drinks are epic. Like eighteen flavors of margaritas . The queso is terrific. I had the tacos and my wife had a bowl. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a traditional style Mexican/American resturant.

Cute place – love the atmosphere and decor. The staff seemed friendly. The food was decent – not bad, but not great either. I had high expectations as the menu looked amazing (it was hard to decide which mouth-watering option to go for). I opted for two street tacos so I could taste a couple of different flavor combos instead of getting an entree with two of the same taco. We also got some guac, which needed seasoning – no real flavor other than the avocado. My friend ordered the Asada beef tacos and she said they weren’t very good.

Loved this place. Excellent Mexican food with flair. Delicious green tomatillo sauce in particular. Very interesting takes on eggs Benedict and other choices. Very friendly and attentive service. Definitely want to go back sometime.

Tried their brunch for the first time and will be back! Mexican French toast had the perfect level of sweetness and texture. It came with 2 strawberries and wish more fruit came with it. Husband enjoyed the breakfast fajitas which are basically regular fajitas with 2 eggs but he loved the flavor and sizzle! Both dishes came with home fries which were seasoned and crispy.

Cute little place with a Mexican theme. Nice variety on the menu. Food was good, we had breakfast. Prices are a little higher than other comparable restaurants. They do add a small fee to the bill for freight…just FYI. Service was good. Also they have a nice outdoor space with trees and seating too!
