Waited a week to try this place! It was worth it. They keep it simple. Pizza and Calzones with Beer. This place did not disappoint at all.
We got a cheese pizza for the kids and a Four Cheese for my wife and I. Holy moly was it good!!!!! Do yourself a favor and get the Sgabei dessert, you won’t regret.

We got a Tex Mex pizza and a lovely pizza. As well as a sausage onion and pineapple calzone. The pizza is amazing. Just like New York. The calzone needs work. The pineapple tasted sour and metallic and there really wasn’t any flavor. It was metallic but bland. I will however go back again for pizza!!

Wonderful, friendly service! Chill atmosphere with great music! The pizza was good, not the best I’ve had but it better than most pizza joints. The salad was lacking, wouldn’t call it salad. Overall enjoyed our experience!

Stopped here on a slow late 9:30pm Monday night to pick up an order and I’m glad I did. This place is definitely one of Salisbury’s hidden gems. Great customer service, quiet sanctuary vibes, and fresh tasting pizza. Food tastes real unlike local chains covered in grease. Price is higher, but worth it for the quality in my opinion. I’ll be back.

Came and got the lunch special. Personal one topping pizza with a side salad and drink for $10.
Pizzas are a good size. Definitely makes for a filling lunch.
I had my food to go and the guy who rang me (this time and once before) was very friendly.
The pizza flavor was on point. The ranch dressing is made in house and was delicious.
Great experience.

Came in with my son and 3 grandkids after their Christmas recital. Sat down and I went to counter and ordered. As soon as I walked I knew it was goi g to be good. Ordered a large pepperoni. Came
Out hot right from the oven. The crust was crisp from the wood burning. Delicious. I ate with my grandkids and then ordered a Margarita one to take home. As I was waiting my family left and I watched them make the pizza. All the ingredients were fresh. Saw the stretch and throw the dough, the cheese was fresh and the basil was fresh. Can’t wait to come back. Finally found a wood burning pizza place close by. Price was reasonable also.

We have been going to the Salty Caper for many years. When we first went, it was a true hole-in-the wall pizza place located in a historic building. During the pandemic year, they expanded next door and probably quadrupled their capacity. This was a good thing, because their pizza and beer selections are outstanding! Not having to wait very long for a table is welcome for us! I don’t rate the atmosphere very highly because it is still a hole in the wall, just bigger now. But that’s ok, because the pizza is excellent! Their wood fired ovens, pizza dough, sauce, and toppings result in a pizza that reminds me of the pizza from New Haven, Connecticut. Thin, a bit stretchy dough, with burned, bubbly crust. The best, in my opinion! Beer taps are aplenty here with great variety. A true local gem of a place!!
