Seeing its the beginning of the season here in Scarborough, I wasn’t that impressed. The fries were VERY salty, the scallops were not the greatest, and the coleslaw was terrible and very small portion. Only picnic tables, outside window for service, bar is on the side building

So most people go to have dinner by the pier and so did we, but if course everything was full till late, so we chose to go here. We got grilled shrimp, scallops and clam strips. Everything was great except the clam strips which weren’t bad, just overpriced for something that is just ok. That is what stopped me from giving this place 5 stars. Minimum wait, outdoor seating, great guys at the register. I would go back and recommend this place to people.

I found this classic seafood stand on an impromptu road trip through Maine. My clam sandwich was incredible’ Cooked to perfection and they added on some delicious tartar sauce. Lovely staff as well! Highly recommend this spot for a perfect Maine lunch.

This place was a huge disappointment. The food was mediocre at best, and they nickel-and-dime you—charging 30 cents each just to toast the roll, add mayo, or add lettuce—on top of a $32 lobster roll. The clam strips were cold and soggy, like they’d been fried yesterday.
The worst part, though,was the service. When I asked for a small 1 oz size container of coleslaw (which should absolutely be included for the price and wasn’t clear NOTHING came with it), the guy behind the counter told me I had to wait in the full 10-person line again. It wasn’t just what he said, but how—he was rude, dismissive, and clearly couldn’t be bothered.
The only redeeming factor here is the beautiful seating area.
If you’re looking for overpriced, average seafood with poor service, this is your spot. Otherwise, stay far away.

So in my current fb picture, there’s a mosquito from the marsh attacking me. the night we went, (weekend of sept 26th) some lady was super toasted at the bar. She found out I was from Utah, and she asked “you got all your teeth?!” And then “you Mormon?” I’m not. “Raised redneck,” as I say.
Anyway. The chowder is sold $8.50 a cup, or you can get a bucket. It doesn’t change the fact it’s canned chowder. Such a shame.

Haven’t been here in years; left satisfied.
I ordered on a Sunday mid afternoon. Business was brisk but only took 5 minutes from order to delivery.
Ordered haddock burger. Came with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese & tarter sauce. It was butter breaded & juicy. It was delightful.
No covid restrictions enforced.

I got a haddock scallop combo dinner very small seafood portion… I had more fries than actual seafood.. I had never seen scallops so small until this place. The coleslaw was definitely not good. The tavern area was amazing. The outside seating in cornhole they had there was great not a place I would revisit for seafood though.

You won’t be disappointed here, great atmosphere. Had good fried scallops and clam chower. The crispy fries were top notch. Coleslaw was tasty as well. Not the cheapest place but you won’t get this at a fast food restaurant
