The atmosphere was amazing and we were so fortunate to find such a beautiful night in July to be there. Staff was very friendly and food was delicious. Wine pairing is a must!

An absolutely incredible experience all around. The food, of course, was out of this world and provided new and interesting flavors that we loved. All of the staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and seemed very happy to be helping out.

So this is a really unique experience and venue. It’s hard to comment on the food exactly because the menu changes each weekend. That said, if you like trying new foods then I’d go here. Also, it’s a good value for an 8 course menu, if you’re looking for that. Meal takes about 3-3.5 hours, in the shade, there are fans, all outside (summer months) and service is really good. For what it’s worth, best items we had were celery leek soup with bacon and onion croutons, beef tenderloin and these green beans with a chimichuri sauce. Least favorite item was the pheasant (tough), BUT the sauce on that was amazing. Bottom line, if you like food and are cool with fixed menus then I would try it.

I was eager to get the opportunity to finally visit Saltwell Farm. The atmosphere was amazing with a beautiful sunset, romantic lighting, and lots of little things to catch your eye. The food/drink in the 8-course meal was so-so. Some menu items were fantastic (e.g. the special ordered cake was superb, the specialty cocktails were on point)! However, other menu items had an “off” texture (e.g. the eggplant was unusually chewy), or had been sitting too long (e.g. our salad came out wilted and soggy with dressing, food arrived to our table cold). There also seemed to be confusion with the wine pairing (e.g. we sat with wine in our glasses waiting for the food pairing for 20 minutes, then we’re told the next wine was up and would accompany 2 courses, so we all had to quickly gulp down the first wine to empty our glasses). The total dinner experience took about 4 hours, with a lot of wait time between each course. If you’re looking for a unique farm-to-table experience, this is definitely it! However, the food and service were mediocre.

Wow, what a hidden gem of a place. It is located fairly far out from the city, so not something you will just run across. As soon as you arrive, they normally greet you, see you at your table. Then the fun begins. You can start exploring the location, including the quirky bathrooms, the mini animals around, including a frisky kitten, or go inside and get a drink. Then, they start serving the courses, which were all fun to see and taste. The wine pairings were so-so, so if you’re not really into wine then stick with the fun mixed drinks. This is a multi-hour experience so basically the opposite of fast food. Come for the opportunity to sit and just be with the group you came with.

A very nice place. Homey feel and nicely decorated. The food, except for a few courses was not impressive and several of them went almost untouched at our table. The salad was so hot with Dijon nobody could eat it. The extra charge for drinks was ridiculous. We’ve eaten a lot of farm to table dinners and I’ve never been to one that I didn’t like until this one. Great idea, great location but it’s overpriced and the quality was not there on the food.

So this was probaly the fanciest dinner I’ve ever been too. Really cool atmosphere, freindly staff, beautiful scenery. I went with my wife and in laws and enjoyed every minute of it. We ate a full 8 course meal and while I can’t name the full menu (and beleive it’s seasonal anyway) here is my review of every course.
