The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was equally inviting. As a guest eager to experience the hotel’s finest restaurant, I was excited to explore their menu. While I truly enjoyed the flavors, the service didn’t quite live up to the hotel’s reputation.

I spent over $150 USD, but unfortunately, my soup arrived cold, and no one checked on us to offer a replacement. The waiter only returned after we had already half-finished our meal.

Despite this, the overall experience was memorable and enjoyable.

Craig did an excellent job knowing the menu and knowing what we would like my girlfriend got the bone in ribeye with asparagus which was delicious and I got the ribs that were the best ribs I’ve had in a long time! I would definitely recommend going here and it will definitely be a stop in the morning 9 o’clock the bar opens up and has the best bloody Mary’s according to Craig my girlfriend said it’s a pallet pleaser so fellas don’t drop the ball on this one! and the staff was super friendly

I ordered the blackened redfish and the hubs ordered the New York strip and grilled shrimp. Both were cooked to perfection! the fish was juicy and well seasoned! the steak was tender and juicy! The shrimp was overcooked but delicious. I had green beans with my redfish and they were delightfully seasoned! We had the steak with truffle parmesan fries. They were as you would expect, delicious! Ordered sweet tea, the waitress said she makes it fresh every morning. It was definitely sweet like southern tea! loved it! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive enough! with every penny!

Incredibly, our lunch at Saltgrass was our favorite meal during our trip to Vegas, and we dined several times on the strip!
What a great spot to enjoy a super meal, attentive service, favorite sports games- all for a very reasonable price. I had the best grilled chicken salad ever at the bar. Our bartender was welcoming, making our experience ” homey”. Can’t wait to go back. This is worth taking the Deuce bus from anywhere on the strip ! ($8.00 for 24 hours).

Food was good redfish was a bit overcooked but sauce was good smoke mac and cheese was very good but I wouldn’t call it smoked the reason for the 3 star instead of 4 was service. I’ve been in before and it was good this time I was ignored with empty drink for quite a while and was not given any bread and everyone else around was. It’s a tough choice when chart house is right next to it if looking for fish or good bar service.

First time eating here. We went on Christmas Eve.

The overall vibe in the restaurant matches the cowboy feel you expect from their name.

Portions were huge, and the food tasted good. Nothing special or worth a detour, but it was good, especially for the value of its money. Pricing additional broccoli for $5, however, was a bit unnecessary.

We did experience excellent service from our waiter. Checked in just enough, gave us a soda to go, and made some small talk about our Belgium football team.

Overall, worth it. We will visit again.

I had the blackened fish with loaded mah potatoes was good, though fish was not heavily seasoned. The atmosphere was solid for a chain restaurant, and the service was on point and attentive throughout.”

This was our first time visiting Saltgrass. The restaurant is inside of the Golden Nugget Casino and is open to the casino (the restaurant isn’t a closed in space) which adds to the noise level, so it is quite loud and normal conversation level speaking is almost impossible to hear. However, the restaurant is clean, well lit, and laid out in a comfortable to walk through manner. We had a reservation and there was no wait time once we entered, we were seated immediately. The service was prompt at the beginning. The food took 15-20 minutes to be brought out after we ordered, which is a good time considering we ordered 3 steaks and sides. I had ordered an old fashioned at one point, which I was excited for since I’ve heard they are really good. Unfortunately for me, my drink never arrived and I didn’t see the waitress again until the end of the meal and I no longer wanted it.
The food was fantastic! Flavorful, well cooked, and delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection for each person and my BBQ pork ribs were fall off the bone perfection.
In conclusion, go for the food because in spite of any detractors it is worth it for the food.

Excellent Service – Bad Ribeye.
Well, my ‘go-to’ for any dinner place is a good Ribeye steak – medium rare.
Of all the many ribeye’s I have had, this was unfortunately the worst ever. the steak was very thin, and although properly cooked for medium rare, it was very tough to cut and tougher to eat. At first I thought they gave me a dull knife… nope, just a really tough cut of meat. Competively priced, and on a moderately busy Wednesday evening, I expected much better. The service was very good, the greeter and waitstaff did a superb job, this was not their fault. When I mentioned to the server that the steak was possibly the toughest ribeye I ever had, he was very apologetic and offered to get the manager for me. I told him that it was not his fault and that I did not really need to talk to the manager. A minute later the manager walked up and said “I understand that you asked for the manager?” I told him that I did not ask for the manager and this issue was not the server’s fault, just a really bad cut of meat… largely inedible. The manager apologized and said that he would tell the chef and that he would be happy to discount my dinner, took the plate and walked away. Attached is a picture of the steak, the parts on the left were absolutely inedible, the rest was tough and/or fatty.
