I spent over $150 USD, but unfortunately, my soup arrived cold, and no one checked on us to offer a replacement. The waiter only returned after we had already half-finished our meal.
Despite this, the overall experience was memorable and enjoyable.
What a great spot to enjoy a super meal, attentive service, favorite sports games- all for a very reasonable price. I had the best grilled chicken salad ever at the bar. Our bartender was welcoming, making our experience ” homey”. Can’t wait to go back. This is worth taking the Deuce bus from anywhere on the strip ! ($8.00 for 24 hours).
The overall vibe in the restaurant matches the cowboy feel you expect from their name.
Portions were huge, and the food tasted good. Nothing special or worth a detour, but it was good, especially for the value of its money. Pricing additional broccoli for $5, however, was a bit unnecessary.
We did experience excellent service from our waiter. Checked in just enough, gave us a soda to go, and made some small talk about our Belgium football team.
Overall, worth it. We will visit again.
The food was fantastic! Flavorful, well cooked, and delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection for each person and my BBQ pork ribs were fall off the bone perfection.
In conclusion, go for the food because in spite of any detractors it is worth it for the food.
Server was super friendly and the food was great! The bread and butter are killer!
Well, my ‘go-to’ for any dinner place is a good Ribeye steak – medium rare.
Of all the many ribeye’s I have had, this was unfortunately the worst ever. the steak was very thin, and although properly cooked for medium rare, it was very tough to cut and tougher to eat. At first I thought they gave me a dull knife… nope, just a really tough cut of meat. Competively priced, and on a moderately busy Wednesday evening, I expected much better. The service was very good, the greeter and waitstaff did a superb job, this was not their fault. When I mentioned to the server that the steak was possibly the toughest ribeye I ever had, he was very apologetic and offered to get the manager for me. I told him that it was not his fault and that I did not really need to talk to the manager. A minute later the manager walked up and said “I understand that you asked for the manager?” I told him that I did not ask for the manager and this issue was not the server’s fault, just a really bad cut of meat… largely inedible. The manager apologized and said that he would tell the chef and that he would be happy to discount my dinner, took the plate and walked away. Attached is a picture of the steak, the parts on the left were absolutely inedible, the rest was tough and/or fatty.
