We were coming from Pittsburgh on our way to Big Bend National Park, drove by this place, and decided to stop — so glad we did! I had never heard of it before, but it ended up being a highlight of the trip. We sat at the bar and had the best service. The food was amazing: filet cooked to perfection, appetizers spot on, and the bread was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The queso was delicious too. I wish we had this chain in PA!

Overall, a great experience. Everyone had a steak (different types), all of which were pretty juicy and cooked exactly how we asked. A noteworthy aspect of the meal was the flavored teas. I had a strawberry tea that was exceptionally good. Also, their house BBQ sauce is great. Our server was very nice and attentive too. He made small talk, got everything we requested, and boxed our leftovers for us. Definitely will return.

So, my mom wanted a Texas stake before leaving the state. I have to say it was a great choice to stop and enjoy a RibEye with Brussels sprouts and a side of onion & Mushrooms. It hit the spot! It had so much flavor and cooked to perfection. There front of the house Sr Manger Ana was so welcoming and ensuring that we had a great first time experience. HORRIBLE and completely UNPROFESSIONAL! The only reason I chose 1 star is because I had to choose something. Me and my family literally just left after trying to have an early Valentine’s Day dinner together! We were sat at a table near the kitchen as staff talked and walked past us while we were waiting 20 minutes. No one came to get our order or even stop at our table. However, a group of men who looked to have just finished working entered, were seated and waitress immediately attended to them! Too bad for you, my husband is a Supervisor in the Midstream business and uses your restaurant for work luncheons and business dinners. Our money is just as green and just as good! Unfortunately, for you, you lost our family business as well as his companies. He called to remove you from their restaurant list as we drove to El Jefe! Where we were welcomed and attended too kindly as soon as we walked in! Take your business elsewhere! I recommend El Jefe!

We had an amazing experience at Saltgrass Steak House! Kimberly was our server and she was absolutely outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. This is hands down the best customer service I’ve received in Odessa. Julio also made sure our service was phenomenal, and together they truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Their teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality made our visit unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to come to eat here tonight. I will say this was such a wonderful, wonderful experience. Our waitress, Elisabeth, was a breath of fresh air. She was attentive, sweet, and very kind. In my time living in Midland/Odessa, I have never had a waitress or waiter who treated us with the most utmost respect. Thank you Saltgrass for a PHENOMENAL employee! Give her a raise ☺️

Miguel and our waiter were awesome! We were there for my husband’s birthday and they made his day super special! He was given a hand written birthday card with birthday wishes from the staff and the cake was delicious and even provided a candle. This location is definitely one of our favorite places to eat. The food is great and so is the staff!!

My Family & I ate here last night & it was absolutely amazing!! Paul was our server and he was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. We were a party of 12 & the service he gave us was above & beyond. Paul was friendly and offered stellar food and drink recommendations. When the kitchen was out of prime rib he promptly returned to the table to get new orders in and made sure our family was served in a timely manner and able to enjoy our meal together. Even though he had other tables his service didn’t falter one bit. Thank you Paul!
