Exceptional Service and Campfire Flavor!
We recently visited Saltgrass Steak House for a late lunch on Black Friday, needing a boost of energy before resuming our shopping. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic and truly delivered on the promise of recapturing the flavor of the open campfire. Steaks, chicken, and seafood are chargrilled to perfection, and it’s wonderful knowing their breads, soups, and desserts are all made from scratch daily.
In addition to the excellent atmosphere, the restaurant features great TVs throughout, making it an ideal spot for catching all the action on game days.
The highlight of our specific visit was definitely our server, Brittany. She was incredibly friendly, informative, and demonstrated outstanding professionalism. We noticed she was training a new server who was shadowing her, and her patience and kindness were exemplary. It was clear she was fostering a supportive learning environment.
Beyond her helpfulness, Brittany was meticulously well-groomed and neat. As a fellow woman, I appreciated her professional presentation—her hair, make-up, and nails were all executed on a high, professional level.
As for the food, our mushroom appetizer was absolutely delicious, and the fresh iced tea was crisp and refreshing.
Overall, Saltgrass is a great restaurant. It’s obvious they have a strong team that genuinely loves their work environment, and that positive energy translates directly into a fantastic dining experience for the customer. We highly recommend stopping in!

I had a great experience at Saltgrass, and a big part of that was thanks to Mike, the manager. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and the team. He stopped by our table to check on us, made sure everything was cooked perfectly, and handled the dining room with confidence and professionalism.

We spent about $138 on our visit and honestly left pretty disappointed. Two of the sirloins were cooked to the correct temperature, but unfortunately one was very tough and the other was extremely tough—almost impossible to enjoy.
Normally we would’ve said something, but it was peak rush hour and we didn’t want to make a fuss or slow things down for the staff. That said, for the price point, we expected much better quality and consistency.
We’ve had good experiences here in the past, which is why this was such a letdown. Hoping this was just an off night, but it definitely impacted what should’ve been a nice meal.

We placed a pick up order for 5:30pm. This was the ASAP time that self populated at check out. My husband arrived a few minutes early and the hostess went to the back to check. She said they were working on it and that it should be out shortly. 25 minutes later my husband went up to the bartender to add a cup of ranch to the order and he stated that the order should already be out. We live 3 miles (6 minutes) from Saltgrass. When he arrived home the kids meals (hamburger with Mac and cheese and a pizza) and the side of fries weren’t even warm to the touch. The steaks and baked potato were tepid. We ordered medium rare and one of them was blue. The other steak tasted like it had been placed on the grill where the previous item had been burned and it picked up all the burnt residue. I imagine the order was indeed ready shortly after the hostess checked and then it sat there. We assumed by doing pick up at a higher end steakhouse that the quality would reflect such, but we were sorely mistaken. Had the restaurant been busy the wait/miss could have even been understandable, but there were very few patrons (according to my husband) and the quality of the food we received may very well represent why.

Husband ordered a 32.00 Ribeye. More like a flank steak. He couldn’t even hardly cut in to it . It was disgusting. My chicken Laredo was a 5 out of a 10. Sould have sent it all back. For the price you charge food have been better. Salad was good and tea was good. We will not be back. Learned out lesson. We were promised a refund it has been about 6 weeks ago. Haven’t seen it yet.

First time here. It was a busy Sat. night so we opted to sit in the bar. Drinks were good, service was a little slow at first. The Grand Old Fashioned was generous and tasty. I ordered the New York steak which was cooked to my asking and the green beans were delish! My boyfriend ordered the Redfish, one of his faves, and it was cooked perfectly. Good food, reasonable prices.
