We both ordered prime rib. Our server, River, was attentive and friendly. My steak was well prepared, but my aunt’s was under cooked. The refire took longer than expected, and my steak grew cold while waiting.

I ordered the chicken Laredo and an old fashioned. The chicken was soooo tender, I didn’t even need to use a knife. The old fashioned was perfectly mixed and got me right while I was munching my meal. The dim lights and the light music also made it very enjoyable.

I love local restaurants, but the manager of this Saltgrass has high standards and a great team! Clean, Fresh Food, service was awesome! We sat in the bar area our waiter/bar tender was amazing! July 21st sat at the bar and shared the Chicken Fried Steak, so yummy!

We were seated by the bar,the waitress was not attentive at all. After waiting almost an hour for our food,I was brought the wrong thing. My husband wanted me to send it back,but I didn’t want to wait another hour for what I originally ordered. I asked for some A-1,but never got it,we were never offered drink refills. We went to Salt Grass to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I was reminiscing with my hubby that when we went to Dallas Tx 11 yrs ago we had gone to Salt Grass and I had my first steak there and it was delicious best experience since I really wasn’t a steak person and we were celebrating our 10 yr wedding anniversary! Here we were again and Salt Grass didn’t disappoint us!!! The atmosphere was fabulous, our server was very pleasant and attentive to us and our food was AMAZING!!! I have my favorite dish chopped steak with grilled onions, mushrooms and the best gravy to die for, a spinach strawberry salad w/vinaigrette dressing which was my first time trying and it was so good!! If you haven’t tried that salad what are you waiting for try it the next time you go, trust me you won’t be disappointed oh and of course a baked potato. My hubby of course had to have his steak and it was cooked to perfection with his loaded baked potato. We took our desserts to go which I just had to have there carrot cake and hubby had chocolate cake. They give great portions so I had to bring my food home which was awesome cause I had dinner and got to enjoy twice. We hope to go back to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary but we’ll be back before that. THANK YOU SALT GRASS FOR MAKING OUR DAY GREAT!!
