Another satisfying visit. My partner and I intended to have a cocktail and a small meal for a late lunch. Started off with two on-point grilled pineapple margaritas. Good pour of tequila. Our choice for our meal was Brad’s Crab Stack (An appetizer) and two side salads. With the complimentary “shiner” bread, we were stuffed, but not bloated. The crab stack is always the star, but their side salads are very good as well. Crunchy lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and purple cabbage. Just the right amount of food for us. Many thanks to our greeter and to Matthew, our waiter for superb, friendly service. It was a treat.

This is still one of my favorite steak houses (affordable) despite the increasing prices over the years. I’ve never had a badly seasoned steak here, but sometimes the quality of the steak is hit and miss. Occasionally, too lean or too much fat. Yesterday, the steak seemed like it was less than a half inch thick, nicely seasoned and cooked, but it was tough (too lean). The steak fries are always a favorite of mine, and the house salad is always refreshing. Atmosphere wise, it’s nice. They play older traditional country music that you don’t hear that much anymore, which is great to me. I’ll keep coming back when I just want to cook my own steak at home. Cost wise, a 10oz ribeye for lunch will run you $22, a 12oz $28.

The whole experience at this Saltgrass location today was amazing. The hostess got us our drinks and appetizer since our server was busy with a big party. They made a good team and tag teamed taking carevof us throughout the meal. The fried pickles were exceptional with a wonderful crunch and slight heat. The chicken tortilla soup was delightful with an avocado garnish and super filled with chicken and vegetables. My husband enjoyed his side salad. The center-cut filet was cooked perfectly, tender and lean. The asparagus was divine, soft yet crispy. Hands down best steakhouse experience in my life. Worth the price. No wait for a table.

This place is super consistent. Never had bad service or bad food at Saltgrass. It’s not prohibitively expensive, but it’s much nicer than the cheap places. I love it, and it seems well managed. Most of us had the Gulf Steak and Shrimp. It was simply great!

Celebrating my 2nd listing selling we celebrated with my family. Our server was excellent, we love the bread. Those cheese fries through me for a loop in the best way, they were SO GOOD I rounded it out with the chicken fried chicken. Overall the family and I had a great time celebrating

Very disappointed! The restaurant is not busy so not sure why the service is extremely slow. 15 minutes to get seated, our waiter was very nice and felt sorry for her because she was serving the whole section by herself. Tenderloin steak was terrible, smells and taste bad. Ribeye was ok but tasted dry for medium well!! Trust me this place doesn’t deserve even a star but I am rating 2 just for the waiter! Saltgrass, terrible and worst steak house ever!!!
