I had an awesome experience at Saltgrass. Our waitress, Madison, was above and beyond great. She was friendly and attentive without being “buggy”, for lack of a better term. I ordered the Pat’s Ribeye steak w/ mac-n-cheese, and my wife got the steak salad. I was blown away by both. My steak was a perfect medium rare, tender, and the sirloin slices on the salad were a perfect rare, just the way she likes it. The steak was seasoned so well that I asked about it, and Madison informed me that they sell it. I gladly bought a jar to take home. It was a great time all around. Good on you, Saltgrass!

This was my first time dining at Saltgrass at the suggestion of my coworker.I ordered the spicy chicken tenders for my appetizer and the Atlantic Salmon with steamed broccoli for my main dish. The chicken tenders were served with a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce and were quite delicious, however, my Broccoli was lukewarm and the salmon portion was overcooked and dry. I was surprised that the size of the salmon did not meet my expectations for the amount I was charged. Expect to pay $21.00 for an unimpressive boring plate of food. I’ve had wayyyy better but this was embarrassing for Saltgrass’s reputation. My waiter Austin was very polite and professional and his personality and great customer service made up for the mediocre meal. Will I go back, probably not.

Classic chain that’s pretty good. The price point is affordable and they are consistent. This location is busy so make reservations if you can! I got the T-Bone and it was cooked just as I would have wanted. Desserts are also a must! Huge portions!! If they have the Pumpkin Cheesecake, get it!!

Saltgrass Steak House in Waco, Texas offers a great dining experience with excellent food and service. The Grilled Salmon was cooked to perfection, and the Potato Soup was rich and flavorful. The Rattlers (fried jalapeños) were a tasty appetizer, and the Lemonade was refreshing. The only downside was that the Salmon could have been more tasty. Overall, a four-star experience.

Friendly staff, pretty nice decoration, but I gave it two stars because today we went as a family to had lunch, first. They took a long time to serve us the food even though the place was not that busy. Secondly, we had to leave the soup of the day, because it was unpleasant. in third the meat was quite raw even though we asked for it well cooked. And my salmon was toomuch overcooked.

Came in at 9pm ready for a delicious steak. No one at the front. Then the sad new from the bartender they closing up. In the state we are in you would think any business would gladly be serviced. Gonna have to give three stars and come again. Maybe it will get back more.

We had reservations at 6pm and when we arrived, we were told they were getting our table ready and would be just minute. We watched many people come in and be seated right away. It was 6:20 and we were tired of waiting to be seated. No one was saying anything to us but we wanted drinks and were celebrating my husband’s birthday so we became anxious and asked how much longer for our table? The 4 hosts looked at each other confused and then magically our table was ready and we were seated. The Ranch Rattlers appetizer was great with Shrimp, Jalapeño and cheese and Fried Onions but then when my husband got the Cajun Ribeye with shrimp on top he said the shrimp and topping was terrible. He scraped it off and just ate the rest. Also, my niece got a shrimp meal and didn’t like the way that shrimp tasted either and said it was chewy. I got the plain Ribeye and it was great. The fries were not so good. We were all very surprised that each one of our meals came with only one side and a salad especially my sister in law who absolutely does not like salads or vegetables. We could not order a different side which we thought was very strange. The prices are high for the quality of food and being forced to eat salad. We still had a good time once we all got our drinks. My niece had to wait until we received our food and everyone else was half done with their drinks before getting her Sangria so that was not very good either. Our server Adrian was very nice and fun. Also, no desert was provided free for the birthday guy, my husband, but my nephew paid for it so that was nice. The chocolate cake was amazing and came with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce on top. I recommend that. Oh and I recommend the Cheese Froes appetizers thar my nephew got. Those were delicious and such a large amount of food. We all tried those and loved them.

Went here tonight for 2 special occasions. Our Anniversary and our nephews birthday. We had a great time. The food was delicious and our server Tim was extremely attentive and kind. We will definitely go there again.
