EXTREMELY OVER PRICED FOR SMALL PORTIONS! I’d give is a 2.8/5.0. When you come here, NEVER order anything besides your main dish, the portion sizes are super small for the prices. We ordered the brisket queso, I ordered the pork ribs with fries and a Cesar salad, while my bf ordered the steak and shrimp combo with fries and a tortilla soup. As you can see in the pictures, the portions are very off, the best thing was the ribs, they would fall off the bone like advertised, just a little dry, bbq sauce was super sweet and I ate it with ranch which was really good. The queso wasn’t even 1/3 filled with almost no brisket at all with a very bland, disappointing taste, so that’s a scam on its own. The fries were okay, nothing special, but omg my bf’s plate looked so sad, he called his steak a “Chihuahua chew toy” and said that he could “eat it in one bite” but he did say it tasted okay, there were only a couple shrimp with it, which is another scam. The bread was nothing special either, their tea tastes watered down and the price is almost $4 for it, that’s a lot for a drink, usually it’s $2 or something. The whole price was $84.28 which blew us out of the park, that trashy queso was $14.49 on its own when it couldn’t even feed one person. You can see the other prices in the pictures. Probably the best thing overall was the server, Celina, she was super sweet and kind with great customer service that I’m very much grateful for. You’ll have to overestimate your prices by a lot if you come here, but it’s better for you to go to any other steakhouse, go to a local one where they won’t let you down with extremely small portions, this place isn’t worth it at all.

I’m really only giving it a 3 because other places in the same category are just better. The bread, Mac and cheese, and steak are alright but it’s all just mediocre. Id prefer Texas roadhouse every day of the week over this. The prices are also worse at Saltgrass. The service was good. Everything just felt average. Really isn’t much more to say.

Decided on Saltgrass for dinner with my son and his GF. We haven’t been there in a while and last few times it was just mediocre. Today was great thou. We all ordered steaks which were great. Our server was very polite and attentive so will definitely go back in near future since it appears they have gotten out of the slump that went on for a while.

I visited Saltgrass for dinner with my family on the recommendation of several locals, and we had a superb experience! The food was excellent (my steak cooked exactly as I requested), and our server, Parker, was attentive, congenial, super fun to talk to, and provided us with a phenomenal evening. If we’re ever in Texas again, we’ll be back.

Saltgrass is a favorite for our company lunches. So far, I’ve tried the Texas T-Bone, Salmon Oscar, and 16oz Ribeye. Order according to your taste but I usually go with medium rare or medium. Always cut through like buttah’ and yes I mean Buttah’. Macaroni and cheese and salad. Starters I highly recommend are the fried shrimp-jalapenos and mushrooms.

I took my fiancee to Saltgrass for her birthday. The food was excellent, but the service was simply terrible. First off, we didn’t get our drinks for about 15 minutes. Second, once we ordered a couple $35 dollar steaks, they come to our table and ask my fiancee multiple times if she was ok with eating a salad with lettuce only. Apparently, the salad maker had already put his salad station away for the night. We said no, and asked for a sweet potato as a substitute. They said they couldn’t do that. I was shocked. I thought this was the hospitality industry. Eventually, after some persuasion, they brought her the salad that she ordered – 15 minutes after the steak hit the table. I had slipped away to go to the bathroom to ask for a piece of birthday cake because it was her birthday, obviously. The waitress literally said, “it’s not free and you’ll have to pay for it.” I’m thinking, “does it look like I can’t afford a piece of cake?” We are in the middle of our meal when she returns to the table, and asks if we would like the cake and the bill. (Totally ruining the little surprise that I had for her.) I said no and to bring it at the end. Again, shocked this waitress has no clue how to be hospitable.

We had made reservations so there was no wait, but there was also no one waiting for a seat when we got there. It was a rainy Friday night, so maybe that’s why. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and wait staff were all amazing. I definitely recommend coming here for good food!

We didn’t know what to expect when we first tried Saltgrass, but it totally blew us out of the water! We are repeat customers and are always excited to come back. This time, we tried the steak salad and chimichurri filet. The salad is similar to a Nicoise with a Texas flair and was delicious. The chimichurri filet is something we have ordered in the past and one of us usually gets it because it’s so great!! The food is top notch, prices are right, and staff is always very accommodating. Highly recommended, especially during happy hour with their food and drink specials. Be sure to ask about the select club if you enjoy your visit. Can’t wait to return!
