First time in Baton Rouge for Family Worship Center and first time at this fine steakhouse. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere and excellent service. Two thumbs up!

The restaurant was clean and well kept. The server was a little too formal and could loosen up a bit. She was fantastic and took good care of us. I had the ribs with a loaded bake potato and Ceasar salad. The salad was just ok. Usually it is already mixed with graded cheese. What I received was lettuce, a glop of dressing, and shaved cheese. The ribs were overcooked and lacked bbq sauce. I asked for a little extra and was given a small quarter filled container. The potato had ample topping and was good. Not sure if I would return. I didn’t get dessert but the portions are enough for two.

Some items were missing and what they did send. Some of those items were not so good. These photos show the items that were not worth eating. The stakes that were ordered were cooked well. The sides were the problem. But when you spend the kind of money that I spent, you should expect better. I spent over $160 do those green beans and baked potatoe look good to you?

My family and I had dinner here on July 21st. The atmosphere was nice and we had a great waiter. The hostess was not friendly at all. The food was great, I had the Chicken Orleans with a salad and smoked Mac and cheese. My husband had the t bone steak with fries. My children had the cheeseburger with fries and chicken tenders and fries. The fried pickles and mushrooms are good.

I hardly come here but every time I do it’s something. I walk in and I’m not even greeted. Mind you, it’s not even busy. I get seated, I wait for someone to take my order or get me something to drink. After 10 minutes we leave. It doesn’t take much to be polite and greet someone. Start teaching your staff manners. The little black boy especially.

So sad we chose to come here passing up other options. The wait was 25 minutes and we got seated at 8:15 PM. We ordered everything at same time as the appetizer. Fast forward to 9:30 PM – our food is still not served. The appetizer and salads came out and then just crickets ♀️ while a huge table of about 12 people beside us kept getting their service. We kept seeing that all other tables were starting to get cleaned, so they’re not too busy… yet, No check in, No update, No eye contact, just ZERO effort. The dining room was FREEZING too! We finally asked the manager for help and within a minute she said food was coming and brought out all our plates. My kids entrees were all cold. The pizza was stale with hardly any sauce, pork ribs had a funky aftertaste, and Mac and cheese was worse than what you make from a box. I really don’t like posting bad reviews but we just had to share our experience ♀️idk what happened but, never again.

Steak houses are always good in my book. This one however was exception. Friendly staff completes the experience and makes it better. Hard to find a server that actually cares and ours went above and beyond in every way all while smiling and being friendly.

I was very pleased with this place. Good location. Easy access on and off the highway. Good customer service. We were told it be a 30 minute wait however I think it was only 15 minutes. They gave us a buzzer and we went to the bar to get a beer and headed outside to the patio to wait for our turn to be seated. Enjoyed the view and the TV’s outside on the patio. We were seated and waited on. The appetizers were good and the T-bone steak was great. I was in the mood for a big thick juicy steak and this place delivered with that. The price was well worth it all. That being said it’s about an average price for a steakhouse but it met my expectations and then some. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be going to more of these Saltgrass Restaurants when I have a chance.
