Always fantastic time at saltgrass! The lady and I shared the new drinks they have for October and they were absolutely amazing! Highly recommend the bartender Riya’s Watermelon Martini and her out of this world service! She made us feel like such v.i.p. diners and the food was just on par to match the rest of our amazing evening! The new manager stopped by our table and was very kind, checking on our food and beverage was so sweet! Highly recommending saltgrass to my friends!

Our favorite steak house wanted our party of 5 to wait an hour even when arriving on time for our reservation. When celebrating someone’s birthday you don’t want to keep them waiting.
We left to find a steak house that was not busy. Upon arrival the smells coming from the door were amazing so we had high hopes. While waiting for a table we looked at the menu online. Again we had high hopes that this steak house would have loads of flavor. For a Saturday evening our party had a nice cozy spot to sit rather quickly. The server was beyond attentive and served bread quickly once he found out we fasted all day for our evening feast.
The birthday king had a 21 oz steak that was pink in the middle but was quite chewy. He said the flavor was there but it was hard to chew.
I had the brisket burger with a potato and so did another member of our party. We both had dry burgers that were not hot and lacked flavor. The bread should not be more moist than brisket or the burger. The server did ask if everything tasted delicious but we are not the type to send food back. We did ask if they had any other seasonings besides salt and pepper. They had your basic steak sauces only.
The atmosphere and servers were lovely. The food was lacking flavor, fixture and proper temperature. I would only come back for the atmosphere and servers, not for the food.

They seated us and didn’t even took our drink orders yet. We stayed and waited patiently for almost 30 minutes and the family after us had gotten served before us.. they never even gave us complimentary bread. This was my first time coming and this will definitely be our last time. The waiters even gave dirty looks when I politely called them to ask if we can order. We felt very uncomfortable and it gave very racist vibes and we definitely will let others know about it.

We almost left when they didn’t want to seat us and wish we would have. They only had 2 or 3 tables seated and could not find a spot for us with the only waitress that seemed to be working. There were 3 other waitress and a manager that spent their time going in and out of the curtained room. We saw when we left that no customers were in that room. They were using it to hang out. We both ordered chopped steak. My baked potato had only butter on it and the butter would not melt it was so cold. Our whole meal was cold. Both my husband and I had diarrhea that evening though I had barely eaten my food for the Brussels sprouts and steak tasted so bad. This was our first time and will not be back.Lafayette Louisiana

It was expensive, our order came out completely wrong and not cooked right, server didn’t come and check on us at all unless she was bringing something out, our drinks and appetizers took at least 40 minutes to come out and our food over an hour. They also didn’t have many sides and kept coming back out every couple of minutes to tell us they kept running out of stuff. If you know you are gonna be busy, you should to be more prepared. I understand you have a lot going on in the restaurant but as we were sitting down we were looking around and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and many servers more worried on closing than actually doing their job. Do better.

Wow! This place is above and beyond! The food was amazing! Very flavorful, perfectly cooked, and steaming hot when it arrived at our table! I’m was extremely impressed! We had the bourbon glazed bacon for our appetizer and honestly I could’ve eaten this as my meal..it was that good! We both had a steak which was absolute perfection! No A-1 needed with these steaks..yes that good! Portion size was more than enough with more than enough to take home. I had a Don Julio margarita and it had plenty of tequila and it was made in house not from a mix! Our server Cortney was definitely a 5 star high end server! Extremely attentive and very kind! Perfect place for anyone wanting a fantastic evening with dinner and cocktails!!!!

We visited this place after graduation after having a horrible experience with a different business. Saltgrass was extremely accommodating and was able to assist our large party really well. Service met all standards and the management staff was excellent. Thank you Saltgrass for welcoming us. We will definitely be back and recommend others!! Job well done!

Chicken on Lean
I went by myself got sat down immediately, the server was really kind and sweet, she came check on me multiple times to make sure everything was good. The food was fantastic and filled me up, I also had leftovers to bring home. It was a pleasant experience and I will be going there again, not alone this time.
