I stopped here with a friend while visiting New Orleans and I MUST go back neoooww. We slit a dozen charbroiled oysters and the crab mac n cheese, both of which were delicious. Service was great. Kendall took great care of us and even threw in a couple raw oysters for us to try as he explained what hot sauces he puts on each type of oyster. 10/10. Seating was available at the counter/bar as well as other seating inside St. Roch Market. Such a cute vibe for a date or friend hang out.

Great oysters for great prices. The atmosphere in this place is great. We ordered some champagne and enjoyed the oysters along side. Another time, we ordered some sazeracs and had those. However, we once ordered some bechamel pasta and some of the shrimps came out raw, and the sauce broke! It was a foul experience, but not enough to detract from the overall experience

Best oysters in town! This place is located in the St. Roch Market. Tiger provided excellent service and is a really wonderful person. We had char-broiled oysters, Mac and cheese and the shrimp cocktail. Everything was superb! Great food and atmosphere to go have dinner.

The food and service were incredible! Tiger was probably the nicest person we met during our entire US trip – and an amazing chef, too. We had the crab mac & cheese and the tuna dip – both highly recommended! The plating was beautiful as well.

Popped in for oysters and the visit exceeded expectations. The Salted Pearl is inside the larger market, conveniently located next to the bar. We grabbed a bottle of wine and sat at the counter. Tiger chatted with us while he expertly shucked the raw oysters. We orders the trio which had crawfish ceviche, shrimp cocktail, and smoked tuna dip. Also a half dozen oysters. Everything was delicious! The oysters were huge and very fresh. Will definitely be back!

Just finished some amazing Crab Mac N Cheese and raw oysters at The Salted Pearl. Miles was attentive to our needs and made our experience a good one. Wish you could get friendly, down-to-earth service like this everywhere. The venue is beautiful. It was a rainy, peaceful Monday morning. Lots of fun food vendors at this location. Glad we had somewhere dry to be while it was downpouring on our trip.

The Salted Pearl oyster bar was by far, an enjoyable place to experience oysters for the first time. Mr. Tiger was personable and shuck them right in front of us. He added a cracker (for texture), oyster, hot sauce, lemon & his own salt that he makes himself. It was delicious!!! My kids were so enamored with the moment, they tried it as well. Each one had smiles after eating each oyster. It’s a great atmosphere, with tasty food & delightful service with Mr. Tiger. You’ve gotta try this place, located in St. Roch (Rock) Market. The hours are Sunday-Thursday 11am-9pm, Friday & Saturday 10am-10pm.
