Overall I give this place a 4 and here is my breakdown.
First of all its very remote unless you live in Perryville but that just adds to the charm of the place. When I pulled up and parked I absolutely loved the Painting on the Side of building and the Front entrance (pictured). I got there about 2:30p on a Friday and I was the only one in the restaurant. (Fine by me!) I walked around a cool Bar with Hard Liquors and great Barstools (pictured) straight to a Half Ice Cream counter/ Espresso Counter with many desserts. The main Dining room is full of different style tables and chairs along with a big assortment of lighting. (pictured) Obviously seated right away after being greeted. I would give the overall feel and looks of this place a 5. It is full of cool items, nooks and furniture.
I would give the many options you have also a 5. Ice Cream, Coffee Bar, Full Bar, and Restaurant is very diverse!
I ordered the Philadelphia Cheesesteak sandwich with Fries and a cup of the Broccoli Cheddar soup.
The Sandwich had very little meat and a very heavy hand with Onions, Peppers and Cheese although still tasted pretty good. The Crinkle cut fries were Hot and Crisp so also pretty good. The Broccoli Cheddar soup was not very good. Very Chunky with Broccoli and not quite soft due to many stems and kind of watery with no real Cheddar taste at all. Food rating for me was a 3. I was going to order a coffee drink also but the server said the person that could make them wasn’t working.
The server was very nice and attentive and the food was very affordable.
If you are in the area it is worth visiting and there are many things enjoyable about the visit.

We’ve driven by Salted Honey many times (I’m sure a lot of you have) on our way home to Danville, but today (Saturday June 4th) we stopped. I’m really glad we did. Had a fantastic lunch. There are new owners who bought the restaurant eight weeks ago, retired army. The restaurant features memorabilia from their family members who served during WWII. I hope they expand on the theme….a newspaper recounting the events of Pearl Harbor hangs on tge wall. Please consider playing swing music in the restaurant!
Definitely try their take on the Kentucky Hot Brown…and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Both are fantastic.
Very friendly folks.

We stopped here on our way back from Gatlinburg, TN. We ordered fried green tomatoes, side salads, and burger/fries. The atmosphere is quaint, the service is friendly, and the food is very fresh and tasty.

This place is awesome! Kinda off the beaten path but if you’re ever out this way I definitely recommend! Ordered their cheeseburger and it didn’t disappoint. Soup beans are pretty good too. The waiter with the cowboy hat was super friendly and always made sure I was satisfied.

This is a peculiar little spot. It has a full menu with a decent number of home cooked options, lots of flavors of hand dipped ice cream, and a full bar. That being said, though, they didn’t have any Bud Light, and only one Budweiser. The bartender/waiter did Google how to make an old fashioned for us. The Reuben sandwich was good and the hot brown was interesting. A first for us, Ohioans. We try to support local business and this place was definitely a local spot. The hospitality will make you overlook any shortcomings.

Group of 15 of us on a motorcycle ride showed up unannounced. So I won’t say anything about the service. They did the best they could.
As far as the food goes, I got the fried pickles for an appetizer. It was okay.
For my lunch I got the KY Hot Brown Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Not what I expected. It was basically a grilled cheese sandwich with a fried green tomato, turkey and ham. No Hot Brown sauce. I thought it was kinda dry.
I will return because there breakfast menu looked very good.

I thought I would give this place a try being a Perryville native as I have heard so many things about it and I have to say it was a huge let down. Service was okay but the food was less than appealing. Food came out dry and bland. The menu selection is not that great either.

Had great sandwiches, tasty and generous size. Mimi was a great host and served us quickly. Prices are quite fair. We will be back for Friday Fish.
