Selections seem overpriced for the limited menu (my opinion). Feels like they want to cater to outside clients, not designed for residents with a normal palate. Several favorites have been removed from the menu which makes no sense. The side salad is tiny for the price. No bread with meals normally.

Paul was our waiter. Because his recommendation we tried the lettuce wraps. Glad we did, they were delicious. Service was excellent, food was great. The mile-high chocolate cake was super delicious and enough for 3 people..

Passing through Ocala and googled a few restaurants. The Salted Brick had very good reviews so we headed on over. The folks working there were very friendly, the service great and the crab cakes were 2nd best we ever had, and that is saying something. Wife had margarita flat bread that was also very good. Strong recommendation to give them a shot if you are in town. * the people who passed us by in golf carts and/or cars in the community all waved like they have known us for years.

First, we love living here in our community and support our club as much as possible. But the last 2 times we had lunch/dinner there it was pretty bad. I ordered a Hot Dog for lunch and I had to send it back because it wasn’t cooked. (Nasty). We then had dinner with our daughter and we all ordered chicken picatta. The chicken was tough and stringy and the broccoli was luke warm at best and the pasta was cold and very very little sauce. I think they need to slow down and make sure the orders are complete and the food is cooked. We spent $99.00 on dinner for 3 and it really was not worth it. Lets hope it gets better.

In honesty this is not one of our fav places, however, our friends live here or love it. Service is okay…often we were unable to know about happy hr or order appetizers & ran out of drinks but server were nice each time. Food is not our preference but others may like it. We love the ambiance but everything else has not been our preferred experience.

We had our wedding at salted brick and everything was great. Chip Cheree and Blane did an excellent job of working out the details to setting up decorations to the wonderful food. All of our guest said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Keep up the great work guys

Server was friendly and attentive throughout our lengthy dinner. Cocktails were delightful and $5 special for a correctly made old fashioned is a treat! French onion soup had a nice ratio of cheese, bread, and onion, and the broth was so flavorful. They happily accommodated our request to add jalapeños to the chicken quesadilla, which was loaded with tender chicken and accompanied by fresh pico de gallo, sour cream, and a tangy remoulade-type sauce. Prime rib was juicy. Server was forthright about which seafood was fresh, and the walleye tasted wonderful: flaky and buttery as it should be. Our key lime tart didn’t last long—so delicious with a crumbly crust and tart yet creamy filling. Atmosphere that simultaneously feels cozy yet spacious, like a perfectly designed mountain cabin. Everyone, from the gated entrance to the bartender, was a joy to encounter. Absolutely will return and recommend! Hopefully it remains open to the public for a long time!
