Came for breakfast and it was a total disaster. There wasn’t one element of the breakfast that had been cooked properly whether it was full of grease, raw, cold or poor quality it was not good. The pot of tea was the only good thing. The reason it gets 5 stars for service and 4 overall is because of the young man running the establishment. His customer service was excellent from beginning to end and made a lasting impression on us. Give that man a pay rise or lose him at your peril !

Came for breakfast. What a wonderful cafe. The food was exceptional. We had a full Northumberland and French toast with maple and bacon. Every bite was so tasty.
Even better was just how dog friendly they are. They made a huge fuss of Harley and were so lovely.
Coffee was creamy and a good strength.
We will be coming back

We booked our 30th wedding anniversary meal here and we are so glad we did. Chico helped me arrange some lovely flowers for my wife and the young gentleman who served us was very pleasant and tentative. The food was out of this world also. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Best meal we’ve had in ages. Brilliant with my mum who has coeliac so can’t have gluten but also doesn’t eat dairy or sugar. Nothing was too much trouble. The mussels, risotto and chowder were all top notch and the pavlova was amazing. Thanks so much

Friendly staff, with a very chilled vibe inside and out. We waited longer than expected for our food, however the food was fresh and tasty and was reasonably price. I would have given a 5 star for service if they didn’t miss a few things from my order. Dog friendly bistro which is also plus!

We visited on a cold, wet & windy afternoon along with a wet and muddy dog and were made very welcome. We both had the fish & chips, which was delicious. Very friendly place with a great menu, would definitely recommend.

Staying locally for a few days. Heard about their breakfast, so tried it. We are a 4 some couple, 3 of us went for breakfast. I think we timed it perfectly, got busier during our visit.
Service was perfectly paced, no pressure.
I chose kippers, the current wife had poached eggs on toast, friend had eggs Benedict.
Tea arrived – marvellous, nice pot and cups etc.
Food arrived together, piping hot and nicely presented.
Just beautiful, everything was tasty and well presented.
No time pressure, coffee finished. Brilliant.
Saw the evening menu, so booked for the next night………. Revue next !!!!!

We went to this place at lunch time as a cafe which was rather average to be honest. However we decided to return for the evening menu as a bistro, we were very pleased with the food and the service. The mains were lovely, we ordered the stone bass risotto, the stone bass was chunky fresh fish, which just melted in your mouth. And the seafood platter was a range of gorgeous, fresh fish. We managed to squeeze in a dessert, the chocolate orange brownie was amazing and huge! I had to take some of it away. Overall a lovely experience, would highly recommend a visit on an evening.
