Salt & Vinegar at Ethereal Brewing Public House is rooted in German and American Southern cuisines but do not restrict ourselves to either. Using both classic and modern cooking technique we put a bold stamp on our dishes bring classic dishes into the 21st century and creating truly unique dishes. We offer a Pub Menu all day, which tries to emphasize some classic British pub food, but with a little bit of our own touch. In the evening, we add a Supper Menu which will be fully composed dishes with a touch of elegance. We are a true scratch kitchen and feature some of the finest products Kentucky and the surrounding area have to offer.

We were traveling from Houston for a conference at the convention center and stumbled upon this place inside Ethereal Pub. The food was IMPECCABLE. So far this is the best food we have had for this trip (and yes we know we’re spoiled, food wise, in Houston). We played some scrabble and ate the the artichoke dip, grilled cheese and tomato bisque, and the bratwurst and mashed potatoes. Flavors were amazing. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Best kept surprise in Lexington! The food (Salt & Vinegar) is amazing! Really, top-notch! We had the spätzle and cant wait to try more. The cocktails are great, and the drafts, of course. The people were super nice, knowledgeable about the menu, and helpful. What a great spot and somewhere that hit the top quality bell. We’ll be back often… compliments to the chef(s)! And still hoping to find the brews (Ethereal) in stores!

I have been coming here for years and it has always been my #1 recommendation for folks asking for a great place to eat. Never had a bad meal until today. The lamb sausage was inedible and the chef seemingly was well aware but did not care at all. Hard to ever recommend again when you drop $28 on an inedible entree.

If you are in Lexington make it a point to stop at Salt and Vinegar!. My Girlfriend and I shared a pretzel and fish and chips. The food was great and had a ton of flavor. The service and hospitality is top notch, it felt like a home away from home for us! 10 out of 10 would recommend!
