The restaurant was moderately busy when I visited on September 6, 2025. I would likely visit again.
Salt and Stone offers an exceptional dining experience. The quality of the food is outstanding, with appetizers that set the tone for the meal. The goat cheese lollipops are a unique and flavorful starter, perfectly paired with a smoked cocktail. They are so enjoyable that a larger portion would certainly be welcomed. The truffle French fries are another excellent choice, and the baked ham mac and cheese is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced.
For the main course, the braised lamb shank is highly recommended. It is tender, flavorful, and falls effortlessly off the bone, making it a true highlight of the menu. Service is both attentive and efficient, with food arriving at the table promptly while still maintaining freshness and quality. The staff is friendly and professional, and the cleanliness of the restaurant is among the best I have encountered in recent memory.
Overall, Salt and Stone delivers on all fronts, excellent food, outstanding service, and an inviting atmosphere.
My family lives in Conshohocken, this location has been so many restaurants over the last 10 years or so… it was seemingly cursed…. NOT ANYMORE!
Far from it…
SALT AND STONE is FANTASTIC!
The food is always incredible, amazing attention to detail and exquisite taste. The staff is attentive and focused and always kind, thoughtful and wonderful.
We have been to this restaurant more in the last year than the previous 10 years combined… We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and even just a happy hour drink…
Owners Dimitri and Zara are ELITE, they are welcoming, hospitable, charismatic and ALWAYS present and on top of everything in the establishment. The management is ON-POINT and second to none. SAVVY SUCCESSFUL Industry-Vets who OBVIOUSLY KNOW what they are doing! Total Rockstars!
The menu is one of a kind, constantly evolving and adventurous in countless delicious ways. The food is INCREDIBLE, go… ENJOY!
The decor and vibes and music are swanky and upbeat while keeping a classy elegance.
SALT AND STONE rocks, it always exceeds even the highest expectations.
Starter:
Grilled octopus—respectable texture, lightly charred, and plated with care. Not a showstopper, but a solid opening note.
Drinks:
Balanced and easy to enjoy. They were well made cocktails that match the mood.
Entrée:
The pork chop was the kind of dish that earns trust. It was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and plated with rhythm. The mashed potatoes were familiar but elevated by a gentle hit of cheese. The collard greens— Unexpectedly tender and with a nice flavor. Together, the plate felt like a seasonal hug and comfort-forward.
Dessert:
Baklava with vanilla ice cream—normally not my go-to, but the mention of a family recipe pulled me in. It earns a nod. Not overly sweet, but spice-filled and layered—cinnamon, walnut, warmth, etc. The flavors complemented the season and closed the meal with quiet confidence.
Atmosphere:
Cozy and warm. The lighting, the layout, the pacing—it all invites you to settle in and stay a while.
Service:
Phenomenal. Attentive, intuitive, and genuinely kind. The kind of team that makes you feel seen without hovering.
Final Thought:
Salt & Stone isn’t just a promising new spot—it’s already delivering. I’m looking forward to exploring more of the menu, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone craving a well-paced, comfort-forward meal in Conshohocken.

Salt and Stone is truly something special. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a beautiful, thoughtfully designed atmosphere. Elegant, yet inviting, it’s the kind of place that instantly sets the tone for a perfect night out with friends or for a date night.
Now the food…I had to try as much as I could in one visit and every dish is a STANDOUT. The flavors are bold yet balanced, seasoned to perfection, and somehow manage to feel both indulgent and light. Honestly, you could eat your way through the entire menu (and you should), because everything is just that good. The goat cheese lollipops? 10000/10. Absolutely unforgettable. They alone are worth the visit. The chocolate lava cake was such a great twist on a classic. It’s light, not too sweet, and just the perfect way to wrap up the meal. It pulled everything together without feeling heavy.
Now moving on to the drinks-Next-level! Not only are the cocktails creative and beautifully crafted, some of them come smoked, adding this dramatic, aromatic layer that takes the whole experience up a notch. & if you don’t drink alcohol, they have a bunch of mocktail options that are just as amazing. I got the cucumber cooler and it was super refreshing.
The staff is warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can feel the care behind every plate and every interaction.
Salt and Stone isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Top-tier food, top-tier service, and a stunning setting. Highly recommend, obviously.
If they had been at all pleasant to us, we would have stayed and spent probably $250-$300 and had a lovely evening. But no one there treated us with any kind of respect and the Who’s this spoke to other people kindly and with a smile. I think because we didn’t want to sit at a high top adjacent to 10 people who were crowded at the book between the bar and our table they bulked. We had made an actual reservation. We will never be back there again, so they don’t need to worry about our patronage ever. I would again recommend never going here. The food looked like it was going to be interesting and yummy and we were really looking forward to it. Have we been treated with any kindness and any niceness whatsoever we would have stayed and had a wonderful time probably. But their staff was horrible.
