Came on a whim on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy, however they accommodated dinner for 2 by moving a table from the bar area, which was very kind. Our server was fantastic. We ordered a bottle of the Bordeaux, the goat cheese lollipops, the salmon, chicken pot pie, and a chocolate mousse for dessert. We both enjoyed the Bordeaux and the waiter gave great honest recommendations. My salmon was fresh and tasty, but it was a rather small portion. My wife got the chicken pot pie, it was chicken and veggies in a cream sauce with a biscuit on top, she noted that if you are looking for the pie texture it wasn’t there. The goat cheese lollipops again were good, but very small. The mousse was delightful. Overall the food was good, just felt the portions were a touch small for the value proposition. We would eat here again.

The restaurant was moderately busy when I visited on September 6, 2025. I would likely visit again.

Salt and Stone offers an exceptional dining experience. The quality of the food is outstanding, with appetizers that set the tone for the meal. The goat cheese lollipops are a unique and flavorful starter, perfectly paired with a smoked cocktail. They are so enjoyable that a larger portion would certainly be welcomed. The truffle French fries are another excellent choice, and the baked ham mac and cheese is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced.

For the main course, the braised lamb shank is highly recommended. It is tender, flavorful, and falls effortlessly off the bone, making it a true highlight of the menu. Service is both attentive and efficient, with food arriving at the table promptly while still maintaining freshness and quality. The staff is friendly and professional, and the cleanliness of the restaurant is among the best I have encountered in recent memory.

Overall, Salt and Stone delivers on all fronts, excellent food, outstanding service, and an inviting atmosphere.

Great location, great vibes, great service, GREAT drinks, THE BEST FOOD, A+, ALWAYS PHENOMENAL!

My family lives in Conshohocken, this location has been so many restaurants over the last 10 years or so… it was seemingly cursed…. NOT ANYMORE!
Far from it…

SALT AND STONE is FANTASTIC!

The food is always incredible, amazing attention to detail and exquisite taste. The staff is attentive and focused and always kind, thoughtful and wonderful.

We have been to this restaurant more in the last year than the previous 10 years combined… We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and even just a happy hour drink…

Owners Dimitri and Zara are ELITE, they are welcoming, hospitable, charismatic and ALWAYS present and on top of everything in the establishment. The management is ON-POINT and second to none. SAVVY SUCCESSFUL Industry-Vets who OBVIOUSLY KNOW what they are doing! Total Rockstars!

The menu is one of a kind, constantly evolving and adventurous in countless delicious ways. The food is INCREDIBLE, go… ENJOY!

The decor and vibes and music are swanky and upbeat while keeping a classy elegance.

SALT AND STONE rocks, it always exceeds even the highest expectations.

Six months in, and Salt & Stone already feels like it’s been part of the neighborhood for years. The space is warm, the staff are dialed in, and the food— Surprisingly good—like, “I’ll be back soon” good.

Starter:
Grilled octopus—respectable texture, lightly charred, and plated with care. Not a showstopper, but a solid opening note.

Drinks:
Balanced and easy to enjoy. They were well made cocktails that match the mood.

Entrée:
The pork chop was the kind of dish that earns trust. It was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and plated with rhythm. The mashed potatoes were familiar but elevated by a gentle hit of cheese. The collard greens— Unexpectedly tender and with a nice flavor. Together, the plate felt like a seasonal hug and comfort-forward.

Dessert:
Baklava with vanilla ice cream—normally not my go-to, but the mention of a family recipe pulled me in. It earns a nod. Not overly sweet, but spice-filled and layered—cinnamon, walnut, warmth, etc. The flavors complemented the season and closed the meal with quiet confidence.

Atmosphere:
Cozy and warm. The lighting, the layout, the pacing—it all invites you to settle in and stay a while.

Service:
Phenomenal. Attentive, intuitive, and genuinely kind. The kind of team that makes you feel seen without hovering.

Final Thought:
Salt & Stone isn’t just a promising new spot—it’s already delivering. I’m looking forward to exploring more of the menu, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone craving a well-paced, comfort-forward meal in Conshohocken.

We had an amazing dinner and Salt & Stone. Nock, our waiter, was outstanding! He was personable and did a great job describing the menu options. Loved my teriyaki chicken and my friends enjoyed their rigatoni. The chocolate mousse was outstanding. The atmosphere was so involved!! We will definitely be back! Great night!!!

We were not upset because we had to wait for a table. We were upset because people in front of us and people who came in who had also reserved tables were treated far more respectfully and nicely than we were. If it had just been a 20 minute wait or a 25 minute wait for our table it would not have been a problem, or if the hostess had been respectful to us and in anyway friendly whatsoever. She was rude, and the rest of the staff was also very rude. She mischaracterized our experience to us and to others. And she didn’t let us know what was happening. She just let us stand there with no information about what we could expect or how much longer it would be or if they could not predict how long, that they didn’t know quite yet, but that we would be next to be seated. Anything would have been helpful from her about what we should expect in terms of our reservation and how many other customers needed to be seated before us or anything like that. We left without eating because the waitress who came over after we were finally seated was exceptionally rude. And I understand that they are supportive of their staff, but I still will never be going there again and do not recommend this place to anybody at all. Not if you want to have a nice evening out having a bottle of wine and food with your beloved or friends. There are many other places in the Philadelphia area that are much better than this and have a lot better service.

Outstanding Meal!! Drinks were tasty and unique. The menu has something for everyone. I don’t eat pork chops, but this was over the top and I would get it again!Hannah, our server, was attentive and on point with anything we needed. The lamb shank is the number one seller and we understand why. The sauces and gravy on each dish were phenomenal. I cannot wait to go back. What a great new addition to Conshohocken.

I had the Norwegian Salmon. It was delicious, though the tomato sauce lacked a bit more flavor for me. The beer could have been colder, but the appetizers were excellent and unique. The baklava and ice cream dessert was perfect, not too sweet. Overall, the service, food, and ambiance were great!

Salt and Stone delivers on EVERY LEVEL!

Salt and Stone is truly something special. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a beautiful, thoughtfully designed atmosphere. Elegant, yet inviting, it’s the kind of place that instantly sets the tone for a perfect night out with friends or for a date night.

Now the food…I had to try as much as I could in one visit and every dish is a STANDOUT. The flavors are bold yet balanced, seasoned to perfection, and somehow manage to feel both indulgent and light. Honestly, you could eat your way through the entire menu (and you should), because everything is just that good. The goat cheese lollipops? 10000/10. Absolutely unforgettable. They alone are worth the visit. The chocolate lava cake was such a great twist on a classic. It’s light, not too sweet, and just the perfect way to wrap up the meal. It pulled everything together without feeling heavy.

Now moving on to the drinks-Next-level! Not only are the cocktails creative and beautifully crafted, some of them come smoked, adding this dramatic, aromatic layer that takes the whole experience up a notch. & if you don’t drink alcohol, they have a bunch of mocktail options that are just as amazing. I got the cucumber cooler and it was super refreshing.

The staff is warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can feel the care behind every plate and every interaction.

Salt and Stone isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Top-tier food, top-tier service, and a stunning setting. Highly recommend, obviously.

Don’t go here! Was visiting from NYC and had a terrible experience! The hostess was not helpful even though we had a reservation. The high top by the bar that we could have taken was next to the busiest part of the bar that was 3-deep with people. Not a nice dining experience. Not for the amount we would spend. So we opted to wait for our promised table. The hostess wasn’t checking back in with us and promised another couple with a reservation a table in moments while we were still waiting and lied about how long we’d been waiting. And then we finally got seated but the waitress came over and totally condescended to us and made a big deal about what had happened with the table and hostess, blaming us. We left. Their food would have been sour after all their nasty treatment.

If they had been at all pleasant to us, we would have stayed and spent probably $250-$300 and had a lovely evening. But no one there treated us with any kind of respect and the Who’s this spoke to other people kindly and with a smile. I think because we didn’t want to sit at a high top adjacent to 10 people who were crowded at the book between the bar and our table they bulked. We had made an actual reservation. We will never be back there again, so they don’t need to worry about our patronage ever. I would again recommend never going here. The food looked like it was going to be interesting and yummy and we were really looking forward to it. Have we been treated with any kindness and any niceness whatsoever we would have stayed and had a wonderful time probably. But their staff was horrible.
