Went to The Salt Society last night and WOW! The incredible blend of different foods and flavors is AMAZING! Tried the Short Ribs and Sushi. Both were delicious! Every time I found more mashed potatoes on my plate was like striking gold! Our server was very knowledgeable and nice, which made it an even better experience. Definitely going back ASAP! Would highly recommend for date night, lunch or dinner with the family.

If you’re looking for a tasty sushi and seafood restaurant in Scituate, check out Salt Society. The service was great and very accommodating to our dietary requests. The drinks were strong but delicious. We had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, very delicious and a little sweet. We also had several sushi rolls, including a delicious rainbow roll. Would recommend for a night out with family or friends!

Give it a 3.5 stars. We stopped by for dinner on Wednesday night. It wasn’t busy in the beginning, so we got a table right away. Our server was Erika. Friendly and attentive. We got the chef special grilled octopus with zucchini and pickles veg. The octopus was smokey, but it was a bit too dry and really salty. The watermelon barrata was delicious. Watermelon was sweet. The cheese compliment the salad. Highly recommend. The toro sashimi was fresh. The albacore white tuna was OK. Felt is was frozen and dry.
The rainbow maki was not good. The rice is sushi graded and no seasoning on the rice. The sushi fell apart when picking it up with the chopsticks. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese sushi and properly made sushi, then this isn’t the place. The chefs looked inexperienced when it come to making proper sushi’s.
The vanilla cheesecake was ok. Nothing special. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of parking spaces in the back.

Really enjoyed my time here with a coworker. We initially were sitting outside, but it got breezy, so we asked to sit inside instead. The workers helped us move our drinks in. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Oysters were well shucked and the sushi was good. Would visit again for more oysters and to try out more rolls!

10/10! The food was amazing – we had tuna carpaccio, two of their signature sushi rolls, cheesy focaccia and finished off with ramen. I’m just so happy that there’s a spot on the south shore that does sushi right!

Our bartender, I forget his name but he was a tall younger gentleman, was amazing and super attentive. The atmosphere was great too. I have absolutely no complaints – can’t wait to go back!

A well deserved 5 stars! The interior decor is so nice and the service is so friendly and great. The food is very very delicious, the available options are all great. It was nice to have some sushi and burger at the same time. The chocolate torte at the end was also very delicious. Definitely going back!

Carly and I had a lovely visit without any salty feelings at Salt Society on a rainy Saturday night before New Year’s Eve!

Great ambiance, service, drinks, and most importantly, food!

We sank the sushi love boat for two and almost had to waddle out of there. Thanks to Bianca for the francophone service. We’ve never been called Madam and Monssieur in the contiguous 50 before!

Tori was my bartender tonight. Beyond amazing, exceptional service and drinks. She can explain the menu with ease and precision. Knowledgable with her wine selection; I was in the mood for a blend, and she recommended exactly what I was looking for! 10/10, can’t wait to come back. Thanks Tori!

A true South Shore hidden gem! INCREDIBLE sushi and other dishes from their scratch kitchen, and AMAZING craft cocktails from master mixologist, Jodie! I’ve never had a bad experience in my many times coming here and it’s become one of my most favorite weekend spots!
