I came here with my family of five and we had an amazing dinner. The drinks were amazing, kudos to the bartender. The salmon was delicious, the pizza was great, and the French fries are also great. We finished with a s’mores dessert that surprised me and I’m not a fan of s’mores generally. Devon our waiter did a great job.

We are in town celebrating our anniversary and this restaurant was highly recommended. It did not disappoint. We started with the bread plate. We followed with a side salad. Main entrees were scallops and the hanger steak. We finished with the s’mores desert. Nothing was short of 5 stars.

I genuinely love the food served at this
restaurant. As someone with a lot of digestive issues this was one of the most gut friendly, fresh, delicious restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service is fantastic, we had the best server ever Kristi <3! We spent a bit extra as we got an appetizer, full meal, extra side, and dessert, but the price of the items vs the quality of what you get is spot on. Would highly recommend trying this place your next date night. ♡ ☆☆☆☆☆

We all enjoyed our food, service, and ambiance. This restaurant is tucked away in Fennville, but also stands out in big ways with its craft food and drink menus. All the food tasted delicious. Our one take away was the price for the food and what you get. For example, the short rib pizza was tasty, but I barely got any short rib taste. It was almost thin shavings vs chunks which I’d expect for $24 1 serving pizza.

I liked it. The food combinations were fun and the tastes were great. I gave it four stars because my wife didn’t like it as much. It was expensive but fun to do on special occasions. We spent about $150 for two people with 1 drink each. We did have the special four course meal.

Salt of the Earth is a must-visit spot if you’re in Michigan! We started with the pork belly appetizer—a standout dish with an incredible mix of flavors that all worked together beautifully. Highly recommend starting with the bread service—don’t forget to ask for the special cracked peppercorns, they elevate every bite of your meal.
We also tried the fried green tomatoes, the surf and turf, and the pepperoni pizza—each one absolutely delicious and made with obvious care and quality ingredients. For dessert, the s’mores and chocolate mousse were both phenomenal—rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to the meal.
Our waitress was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations, including a fantastic Pinot Noir that paired perfectly with the meal. The cozy, rustic ambiance just tied it all together. Can’t wait to come back!

Went here last night and it was awesome. We had the hanger steak, pizza, and the kids’ mac and cheese. Everything was on point. Even the kids’ meal was legit (had to try the leftovers and it did not disappoint). Finished it off with the carrot cake and the s’mores dessert, and both were unreal. Complements to the chef! Service was excellent too, even on a busy night. Great food, great vibe. We’ll definitely be back.

This restaurant is a real gem. They catered to vegans and vegetarians in our group. Paisley took care of our table and was a kind hearted , patient and an amazing waitress. Their pasta made from scratch was awesome. The pistachio vegan ice cream was very good. Overall I wish there were more restaurants like salt of the earth everywhere.

10 out of 5 stars……absolutely amazing all around. We arrived 10 minutes BEFORE they closed. I was expecting for them to turn us away. Nope, the owner graciously sat us down and Paisley (waiter) served us the best dinner + dessert we’ve had in a while. Paisley is a top notch server. Brought us food cooked exactly how we wanted. Both Paisley and Kambria deserve bonuses and raises.
Brussel Sprouts
Seasonal Salad
Steak (medium rare) with root vegetable lasagna
Salmon on carrots and quinoa
S’mores desert
This will become a regular date night stop.
Top notch service and delicious food.
Special thank you to Kambria for being wonderful and bringing joy to the restaurant. And for the excellent “extra” ginger beer.
