Had brunch on Sunday. Chicken and waffles was so delicate and delicious! Also had the Breakfast Bread of avocado with a poached egg on top of a thick sliced piece of texas toast. Mm-mm. It was divine. Cooked perfectly. And that sauce?!? I don’t know what it is, but it’s sweet and tangy and a tiny bit spicy and a whole lot DELICIOUS. The music was fun, our waitress was lovely and kind and made me a mean Shirley Temple, and more people should check out this gem with its wonderful food tucked under the bridge.

The jerk chicken dinner and the curry dinner are both phenomenal. All the sides were delicious. Service was great too. Will definitely be back.

My family and I recently went out to celebrate that I passed my state medical exam. I scrolled online and saw pictures on google of Salt North Taproom food & we all thought it looked AMAZING! When we walked in, (on a Wednesday evening I will add), most people were sitting on the bar side. The dining side was empty, but there were many food orders going out the door so we assumed that the vibes are usually DoorDash/online to go orders. We didn’t care, we still sat down and tried the food (which we have never had before) and when I tell you it was AMAZING, that is an understatement! The waitress, Arianna, suggested plantains and another worker suggested ox tails, so I ordered both and was BLOWN AWAY! All of the food we ordered was absolutely delicious & everyone there was so incredibly kind and attentive. We are definitely going to be ordering from there again because the leftovers still tasted amazing the following day! Arianna was sweet, charming and beautiful & we couldn’t have asked for a better waitress! Thank you to all the staff we had interactions with last night, we appreciate all of you 🙂

Delicious food! The chef does an amazing job and is a great guy! The owner knows how to get the party started! I appreciate that they have activities for almost every evening and every category! I love that they are creating opportunities for upcoming DJs to try out on their open disc nights. Over all you can see the enormous effort in creating a fun environment for our downtown area! It’s great to have somewhere to dance again!

Delicious Carribean food, large portions, and a friendly staff. It is a bar and restaurant. There were more people on the bar side on the Saturday night that we went, but the dining side was still quiet and comfortable for a meal. Seriously, whether you want to enjoy a drink there or not, I wouldn’t pass up the food!

To all the 1 star reviews: you must sit at home and eat ramen 24/7. I just went for my first time and all the food was well seasoned, extremely well proportioned and I got 3 meals out of my meal. The curry chicken was amazing, the mac and cheese was amazing dang man it’s all amazing

We ate at the new Salt North TapRoom this afternoon. The term “hidden gem” was invented for places like this. Spread the word, Bangor. It’s a winner! Not just a cool night scene hangout… The food is to die for. So many flavors happening all at once! I had the blueberry glazed chicken sandwich. Ravens Hollow made a meal out of the brisket nachos, and Hex had the…omg… Jerk chicken mac and cheese. Sweet, salty, savory, spicy, crispy, creamy… All the right stuff!

Arianna was very nice to my friends, which was exemplary as they had just turned 21 and made fools of themselves.
Of note is one of my boys wanting her number. Bad move, so I asked, but she was very polite about it. Will educate boys before going there again with them, as it was a generally very nice place and I want to go back.
