Found this place by accident and really glad I did. Menu has a nice variety and the food gave me serious Cabo vibes. Got the calamari, Cabo rolls, and their Monday margarita special. Portions were big. The calamari came with a house sauce that was perfect with it and the Cabo rolls were honestly amazing. Everything tasted fresh and legit. Sat at the bar and Devon was great, gave me a little tequila education which I appreciated. Staff was friendly, got seated right away. Definitely coming back and bringing friends next time.

I came across this after searching for Mexican restaurants. I saw they served braised short rib tacos and I knew I had to go. I went in a Saturday afternoon so it wasn’t too busy. Service was timely and the servers were attentive. The atmosphere and vibes were nice. I tried the chai sangria. I didn’t know what to expect. It was okay but I don’t think I’d order it again. Now, the tacos, the reason for the visit. They were presented in an appetizing way. They were loaded with the beef, onions, lettuce, tomato, avocado. All great ingredients. The only thing I found to be lacking was the short ribs weren’t seasoned enough to my liking. I would try again before making a final decision. Overall, the meal was tasty. We also ordered plantains and nachos which were very tasty.

This was my family’s first time here and I’ve been dying to go for years after seeing NC Eat and Play posting about how much she loves it. Our server/bartender Mike made it an amazing experience, he knew we were excited to be here and he was a big part in why we loved it. Great vibes, amazing drinks, incredible food. This is now one of our favorite spots in Raleigh and we will totally be back!

Went for a birthday dinner with a large group, and I was impressed by how quick and efficient the service was. However, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I ordered the birria tacos, and while they looked promising, the flavor was underwhelming and the portion size was disappointing—especially given the price. Great atmosphere and service, but the food could definitely use some improvement.

Highly recommend this spot & our server Grant was fantastic. I would definitely return for the ceviche & shrimp tacos!! Will also need to try others but those were both 10/10.

5 Stars!
Salt & Lime is a must-visit! The outdoor patio is absolutely adorable, and the heaters make it comfortable even on cooler days. The service was superb — friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.
Now let’s talk about the food… a-mazing! I’m obsessed with pineapple and mango, and they truly deliver on fresh, vibrant flavors. I ordered the pineapple guacamole — WOW. So unique and delicious! I also had the island shrimp tacos, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly inside a beautifully wrapped taco. Every bite was flavorful and fresh.
Great prices for the quality and level of flavor you get. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner!

First time eating at this Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was definitely upscale. I got the pork belly Korean BBQ street tacos. Very tasty. The chips and salsa was not complimentary, but was worth the money. My wife got a meal with steak and shrimp and smashed potatoes. She couldn’t finish her meal. Parking was a bit of a challenge cuz there’s a lot of other businesses in the plaza. We definitely spent more than we intended for dinner, but it was enjoyable just the same.

I love nachos, and I have to say Salt & Lime’s nachos are unmatched. There’s something about their queso that’s just outstanding. I’ve tried other items on their menu and they’re pretty standard, but the nachos are a whole different level. The staff is friendly. There was a bit of a wait since we went on a Friday evening, but honestly, those nachos are worth it. The atmosphere is warm and nicely decorated, and overall, I had a really great experience here.

I wanted to try some place new for my birthday and had found Salt & Lime through a Google search. The place is really nice. We were seated and a waitress came over quickly with water glasses and a carafe. We ordered a cocktail for me…very good…and my husband ordered a beer. Both were brought over quickly. We ordered appetizers and entrees…i noticed that the waitress did not write down our order, but she asked if I wanted my empanadas before my entree and I told her Yes. My husband ordered calamari and the Cabo burger. After I received my empanadas we waited…and waited. I flagged down the waitress and asked her where calamari was…and she seemed confused. My husband told her to just forget about them and bring his burger. The empanadas were really good. I also ordered the Bangkok Shrimp Tacos. The shrimp and salsa were good but there was too much “stuff” to actually eat it as a taco. And the taco itself was cold and bland. My husband enjoyed his burger and loved the sweet potato fries. A good experience but not great.

This place use to pack flavor. Maybe all the chefs went to the new location. Last time was also underwhelming. Not going to return for bland cold food. I forced myself to eat what I could. The silverware was also very dirty even with some leftover lettuce and somehow the sparkling water arrived with no carbonation.
