Today I got to try their Eggplant Tofu plate and it really was good. I used to like the Sweet & Sour Spareribs, but today I wanted to try something more healthy and it turned out that this Eggplant Tofu also seem to use the Sweet & Sour sauce, but much better. Also, the service was friendly and helpful.

Ordered on Uber Eats as I was heading out to lunch. Food was prepared and ready as I arrived. Parking is a bit challenging but has nothing to do with the restaurant.

For us in Honolulu it’s worth the 15min drive to Salt Lake.
This is a family style restaurant, very affordable, good quality and generous portions. Huge menu choices, ample seating inside. We went for my birthday, the service was very good they even brought paper plates for the cake we brought.
Tonight we enjoyed the following dishes which I recommend:
Cream corn soup (with some chicken & egg)
Beef sizzling platter (with green pepper & onions)
Half roast duck (very plump)
Shrimp fried rice (large serving)
Black mushroom with snow pea
Deep friend tofu with veggy
Fish fillet with snow peas

We’ve been coming here for a while. We usually call in our orders and it typically takes 10-15 minutes which isn’t bad. The food is pretty good but nothing special. Sometimes they will mess up the order which can be irritating. The portion sizes can also vary. Sometimes we get a lot of protein/veggies and other times it’s mostly rice or noodles. The food does taste good which is why we keep coming back but there definitely is some improvement that could make this place even better. Overall a good spot for some traditional Chinese food.

Foods are unexpectedly good, better than many other Chinese restaurants. Moved from LA to Oahu and spent lot of time exploring Chinese restaurants all over this island. This restaurant is definitely one of the best. Highly recommended❤️

No wait, plenty of tables, very clean. The waitress was great and fast! She had tea hot & ready. When our duck and bao came out she served us. She also served us our first bowl of egg drop soup. Definitely going to be a repeat customer ❤️

Nice little Cantonese Chinese restaurant in the Salt Lake Shopping center. Conveniently located next to Safeway and Shaka Shaka Tea several other eateries like McDonald’s. Food is good, prices are fair and portions are decent. Been going here a while and occasionally that change in cooks makes the food inconsistent but generally they are our standby Chinese food spot. Favorites are salted fish fried rice, mapo tofu, eggplant with minced pork, garlic chicken over cake noodle, black bean clams, salt and pepper dished (port chops, chicken or squid all tasty). Staff has been really friendly and helpful but speaking Chinese probably helps the cause but our friends who don’t speak still get good service. Ever since portions got really small and Wah Kung in the old 99 ranch complex changed ownership, we have been coming here. You should stop if you are into traditional Cantonese fare.

Bought a small portion of beef and broccoli and it had a disgusting fish smell. Maybe they use the same cooking pan after frying fish – don’t know. Not coming back.

I would say that I wouldn’t even serve this to my dog. But then again their bodys are better suited for digesting cartilage and veins (which was the entirety of our meal), so maybe I’ll save it for later. While I’d never eat here again, you should definitely keep this in mind if you ever want to passive aggressively suggest a restaurant to the workplace colleague that nobody likes or perhaps your mother-in-law.

I ordered chow mein, char siu, two dinner plates and seaweed fishcake soup. The food lacked flavor. There wasn’t enough seasoning on any of the dishes. The crispy gaugee was crispy but even that had little flavor. The only way to know if the food is good is to order it, now I know. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The restaurant is conveniently located with ample parking.
