The menu is super limited — they only have three burgers — and there’s a sign saying the food is Zabihah halal. Honestly, that’s a good thing because they really focus on doing those few items well. I tried the Impossible Burger and the double burger, and both were really good. The Impossible Burger was the standout for me — super tasty and filling.
I also loved the salt fries, perfectly seasoned. The place is really small, so I ordered to go, and everything was quick and easy. Solid food, simple menu, and good quality. Definitely coming back

Entering Salt, it’s a simplistic yet aesthetic burger joint. Ordering is very simple on their large iPad and the menu is small. The interior was clean. They provide free cups which I don’t see much anymore which is very convenient. The wait time wasn’t too bad. I got their double patty burger and their animal fries. The burger was good, but nothing special. It’s more of a warm squishy burger if that makes sense, not a thick meaty burger. Their fries were good but also just average. I wish they would’ve put grilled onions in the animal fries as well. Overall I can’t say it was a memorable experience but it was a consistent experience.

I have no issue paying the price they ask, but management has to train staff to make the food as stated on the menu.

Let’s say you are bored , you are down, you are just not in the mood for anything and then mind is going over everything that did not go well … all this while you are staring at a napkin which you used last night while devouring your burger your friend got you , the same friend who told you , you are born to do wild things in life and be a winner … yes remember that feeling when you and him had a double Patty cheeseburger from SALT with with cheesy fries and jalapeño all over a conversation of how life is tough but great burger choices are few… only to realize that feeling of having that burger with a friend in this dull moment is worth living in now … to make dull a past moment …. Love this this burger

Tried the double burger combo and it did not disappoint. The patty had that fresh-off-the-grill flavor and the sauce tied everything together. Portions were generous for the price. Staff was welcoming and the place was clean. Solid spot for a casual bite.

Absolute diehard fan of salt burger, so when I heard about the oakbrook location opening I knew I needed to be first in line. Burger was perfectly smashed and seasoned as usual, fries were not crispy though which was disappointing. Over still very happy and looking forward to coming on my lunch break again and again!

1000/10. As soon as you walk through the door you emerge the smell of the delicious burger. This burger is delicious not only that but you can taste all the flavors. The fries were crunchy. The workers here are hard working and it is worth the drive I took to get here !! Will recommend anyone that is willing to drive to get a burger. Amazing place!!
