Was the food good? Absolutely but would I say it’s the best? Absolutely not. They were out of alot of items especially seafood items. We were a large group almost 30 but a group of us about 9 had made a reservation. The service was mediocre at best. Felt rushed and sloppy. Felt like we were almost not welcome. They advertise unlimited fries but didn’t mention anything of the sort. Also it’s 4$!!! For a drink and no refill. I got an Arnold Palmer so half tea and half lemonade, at 4$ I’m expecting at least one refill but no . I ended up paying 8 dollars for half tea and half lemonade. The price to service ratio was terrible. With these prices it should’ve been way better. Would I come back probably not. Still a good bite if you’re in the area. Food was good

We visited Saint Andrews for the day and stumbled upon Salt Bight while looking for a lunch spot. What caught our eye was the sign outside advertising a burger and a pint for just $20—sounded like a great deal, so the four of us decided to give it a try.

We’re so glad we did! The beer was excellent, and the burger was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. It had to be at least 8oz, perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavour. Truly impressive for the price point.

The burger doesn’t come with fries, but we ordered a side and were pleasantly surprised to find out they offer unlimited fries. One order was more than enough for the four of us to share, and they were hot, crispy, and fresh.

The location is also a win—it’s right on the water, with a beautiful view that made the experience even better. Our server was fantastic—super friendly, helpful, and very attentive throughout our meal.

Salt Bight was definitely a great find. Delicious food, incredible value, and a relaxed atmosphere with waterfront views. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in town!

Food was ok, but it’s mostly the view and the ambiance that kinda ups the beauty of this place!

I ordered their veggie burger – honestly it felt as if they used a frozen burger patty with hardly any seasoning. My friend tried their crab cakes meal which she says were very oily and could definitely do better on the presentation! The salad that came on the side looked more like they just threw a bunch of roughly cut veggies in a bowl and served it on the plate!

Our server was very sweet! So good on customer service! The food definitely needs some help!

Salt Bight was very tasty. We all enjoyed our food. Service was very friendly just on the slow side. The patio looks onto the wharf so it’s a very nice view. There are a few tables that allow dogs on the patio.

The Caesar salad was exceptional. Very original. Very tasty and flavorful. It was lovely.

The draft beers seemed watered down. Very light and watery and we tried a few.

Our server was very sweet and the food is pretty good and the view is awesome. If you are in a rush or don’t like waiting in general, don’t go here though! Seating was really slow and it seems that either the kitchen or table staff are not able to keep up with high traffic so they cannot operate at full capacity.

If you are not rushed and want to try the place out, once you are seated you’ll have a great meal!

We chose this restaurant for our dinner based on all the positive reviews, however, our experience wasn’t that pleasant.
They made us wait for the spot, though when we got seated, the restaurant was only half full ‍♀️
The service was pretty slow. It took a while, after the appetizer was finished, to get our entrees. Unfortunately, all the fries were cold and didn’t taste that good despite the seasoning. My Mediterranean wrap was pretty bland, I could only taste the oil in it. My husband ordered fish and chips, and the fish was absolutely flavorless.
The Lobster Bisque soup was good and the only hot food we got in that restaurant.
The view on the patio was nice but it’s not worth sitting under rather chill breeze when you can’t even enjoy hot food.
Quite disappointing.

We could have really enjoyed the ambience if it was summer but again, there wouldn’t be any tables available then. The restaurant was literally empty and maybe common this time of the year and we went way before normal dinner time. The Cajun Fettuccine Chicken was really delicious, as was the seafood chowder. The seafood casserole was not good enough. It was not bad, but not great either. It lacked some flavour and the sides along with the seafood seems to be a bit expensive for the price.

from beautiful views, amazing food and friendly staff the vibes here at Salt Bight were incredible! As a vegetarian there was countless options, the food tasted fresh and the cocktails are very tasty! I enjoyed the Old Salt Bight cocktail & Nacho Fries and I would absolutely recommend checking this place out while in town
Special shoutout to Heather & Alyssa for taking care of us, you gals are amazing at what you do xx

We waited in the bar area until service was available outside. The covered deck offers spectacular views. Everybody loved their food and the grown ups loved the craft beer options. Staff was also really good! I would come back here.

Holy do not go here ! Came previously about a month ago and the boil had gone from this whole whack of food for $55 to this tiny little bucket. Still was enjoyable. Then came back today… our server was nice but slow to coming around to us. It wasn’t that busy and we were there for almost 2 hours ! Waited 15 min to receive drinks and the 45 min for 1 app and then 25 min after for the rest of our dinner and another 20 for the bill. The drinks were very very watered down (pops). And I brought this to the attention of our server, told her we had only eaten the food even tho it did not taste fresh because we were starving. Did not finish it all ! And she didn’t really have much to say other then she wasn’t sure why it was so bad. We were also there in time for happy hour and still got charged full price for the app when the sign clearly said $10 between 3-6pm. Overall will never be going back. Quality and quantity has been going down hill. AND TO TOP IT OFF my brother immediately threw up all his food right as we got home. Just not impressed at all and I wish the mangers/restaurant would do more to accommodate things like this, especially when you spend almost $200!
