Everyone was so helpful and made mine and my family’s first Indian cuisine experience the best!! I believe every dish is made from scratch and the extra bit of wait was so worth it. We actually stayed a bit past their closing time, as we were not aware, and they had no issues with it!! I truly recommend you give them a try. I can’t say enough good things, 10/10 all around. Thank you!

The food and service was great. I love the appetizer with the fried cauliflower. Our waitress explained some of her favorites and helped some that were in my party explore Indian cuisine. They had some fun Indian music playing. It was just a good experience.

Fantastic first experience here! Our server was extremely nice and gave us recommendations when we weren’t sure what to try. The wait for the food was just fine and wow the food tasted amazing! I fell in love with the mango chicken curry. Definitely coming back!

After hours of driving and not seeing any restaurants for miles…I was surprised to see this only 5 minutes ahead on our journey. From the outside I was a bit sceptical and all the tables were empty. Talk about not judging a book by the cover. We’ve eaten Indian food before, so we knew what the food should taste like. You can tell they make the food from scratch and it was delightful. As we ate, more people came in and you got the feeling they are just starting to grow the business. I’m happy we found the place and gave them a chance. The samosas were wonderfully flaky and fresh.

This place is every bit of what previous reviews state. Hope every one supports this wonderful addition to the community. Great staff, well explained menus, the food is amazing. I had not ever had naan before now I like it better than bread and tortillas. Welcome to Dodge City!

My parents and I went for lunch, and it was the best Indian food I’ve ever had, and probably one of the best places I’ve eaten at in Dodge City. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend supporting this small resturant. A great addition to the community!

This place definitely deserves a five star. I come up to Dodge City KS every now and then from Texas for business and found this gem right by a car dealership. I was a little skeptical at first, just like any new place you try and looked it up on google. The ratings were convincing to at least try it out. As I was looking at the menu, there were a few customers eating and I questioned them on their experience and taste of their food. Customers had either been here multiple times or had friends / relatives with them who were here for thier first time and were very satisfied with their experience here. The young lady up front was very polite and sweet. She walked around each table to ask how the customers were doing and if they needed anything. I ordered the special they had for that day which was butter chicken and chana masala with naan and a soda. I also ordered tandoori chicken to go. Let me tell you, I travel around quite a bit throughout the U.S. and these dishes reminded me of my first experience eating indian cuisine. The dishes I tried were very colorful, fragrant and delicious. Later that evening I went back and orderd chicken tikka masala and sag chicken. Again I was not disappointed and the delicious fragrant taste of the food was amazing. The place is a little small and not sure how long its been opened. If your around and want to try something new or your craving an Indian dish, definitely stop by here and try it out. There are a lot of varieties to choose from on the menu. I will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes.

When I heard about Salt and Pepper this afternoon, I was excited to try it out. I come from Kansas City and dearly miss my Indian restaurants. I called in asking for vindaloo, but they had already ran out. They offered chicken curry and I couldn’t pass it up. Especially since I drove all the way from Jetmore. I asked for them to make it ridiculously spicy too. They questioned my sanity, but complied.

I drove the long drive back to home and finally tasted my food (which was still warm 45 minutes later!) And I am thrilled! It is not the hottest thing I’ve ever eaten, but the flavor is on point! They joked about how I will probably regret the heat, but I have to disagree. It’s perfect! Kudos dude, I’ll be back.

It’s about time we get Indian food in Southwest KS! Salt and Pepper does not disappoint. We were here for lunch and they are pretty overwhelmed with so much business. We had Lamb and Palak Paneer. They ran out of lots of food. No Naan. No chicken. Boo! We’ll be back though. Salt and Pepper serves Beef which is not traditional Indian food. This place is fantastic.
