The food was fresh and tasted amazing. I have never experienced a place like this so I really enjoyed. The staff was excellent and very helpful offering advice how to eat. I highly recommend stopping and trying this food out.

We went here to celebrate my partner finishing her grad school semester, and we were immensely impressed! The red wine flight was fantastic, with the Bordeaux being the standout. The Bahn Mi on gluten free toast was stellar, and the charcuterie board was to die for. Amazing food and drink for a great price.

Other half and I got a small charcuterie board to split and some other entrees but got super full. We figured when we go back, next time split a large board and that’ll be about the perfect amount of food for date night.

I am from out of state and thought I would try a wine flight at this spot. According to the website, they are curating fine wines. It was just two of us. When we sat down, we liked the atmosphere and were hopeful even though a lady barely welcomed us in. Then after she seated us, she gave us water and menus. I saw the flight that I wanted and wanted to order a charcuterie board. We sat. And sat. We wondered why no music if its a restaurant? But whatever. We finally waved a lady down (two ladies were behind the bar on their phones talking) and asked her how do the flights work. She said they are no longer doing them, even though they are on the menu. She stated that a couple that was seated a few tables over did a flight and it was the last one. She made it sound like the specific wines in the flights were not available. She didn’t offer to substitute the wines, nor did she suggest something else. She said she had taken over management and they aren’t doing that right now.

Since we didn’t feel welcomed, nor did she offer any suggestions to act like she wanted our business, we left.

In my opinion, this management needs to get some training on customer service and revamp the menu.

So my ratings are due to not getting a chance to eat, drink, bad service. The atmosphere was nice, but it would have been nicer if some soft music was playing.

Have been going here for years, but have noticed a decline in consistency. Always order a large charcuterie, last night was brought a small. Took it back, but instead of making a large, added a little to the small and serve it. No crostini, was told we are running low. Next large board brought out was covered with crostini. Really disappointed after 8/9 years.

Went back to S&B last night, much better. Large board was 95% of the best we’ve had there. So, still on our list of favorites.

The ambiance was lovely and the food delicious. While the service was great, it took over 30 minutes after we ordered to get the salad and veggie sandwich we ordered, which seemed like a long time for items that didn’t require cooking. Would recommend, but allow extra time.

I was very disappointed with this place. We went because of the good reviews and because of my never-ending search for a decent croque monsieur outside of France. The croque monsieur here was the worst yet. It was basically a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and not even a particularly good one. Our other food was mediocre too, but they did have outdoor seating, so we could eat with our dog, which is always a plus.

Came here with a group of friends on Tuesday afternoon. The large charcuterie board was splendid, with a huge variety to choose from. The waiter did an amazing job and was very attentive to our needs. All the sandwiches we made were superb as well. I thought the prices were very reasonable. I will be back again to try more!

Another visit to Salt and Board and I was still as impressed as the first visit. My friends and I were there for dinner. The atmosphere was good. Adam, our server, had taken care of my friends and I really well – very attentive.

We started out strong with Charcuterie board. The board was emptied within 20 minutes or so with four people. The bacon jam was a big hit. It was the first to be gone from the board!

Next we ordered sandwiches. I ordered the Italian sandwich. It was very delicious. The side salad was very fresh. The sandwich was very generous with the meat. I felt satisfied at the end of the meal.

Cute place, and they do a nice job with the charcuterie boards. We often get the regular meat and cheese board, and it includes some other goodies like jams, relishes, olives, etc. I’ve gotten some of the sandwiches too, and they’re not bad, but in my opinion th boards are the star. They do have a nice beer and wine list too. Staff is always nice, definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re hitting a shot at Popejoy after!
