I was really excited to try a halal Mexican place in VA but was a bit disappointed in the quality of their food. I should have expected a lesser restaurant-quality style as this place is located in the food court of a mall.
I ordered the nachos with beef, cheese sauce, jalapenos, onions and I wanted cilantro but they were out of them. How can a Mexican place be out of cilantro?! I also asked for a sprinkle of regular shredded cheese on top and the lady told me it would be an additional $2! That’s ridiculous for a sprinkle of cheese c’mon. I also ordered two chicken tacos and one steak taco.
Verdict: very dry and flavorless. What saved the nachos for me was the cheese sauce. What saved the tacos was the salsas.
Order the nachos with cheese sauce if you’re really hungry or had they had enchiladas maybe that would have been good. But not worth the drive.

Halal authentic Mexican food! How exciting! Their food always tastes so fresh. I love the ground beef soft or crunch tacos. Always has a big line but employees are always trying their best.

Very bad customer service.
I expect just a normal rice bowl, but I can’t even get the right one I asked for.
The cashier doesn’t even speak English, and I have to point so many times just to get my order wrong.
She just gave me the vegetables I didn’t even ask for and my whole 12$ bowl look like a mess.

Best halal Mexican food. Especially when you’re shopping at Potomac mills and need a quick bite. It’s a bit expensive but it’s worth it

This place is a complete RIP off. The lady( owner) changes the price of things whenever she feels like it and she skimps on the meat. We ordered a beef nacho and she put two small scoops of meat in there and it barely covered half of the chips. I asked her how much for an extra scoop and she said ummm.. 4.00 I showed her that an entire side of the nachos had absolutely no beef she just looked at me. Then charged 2.00 for an extra spoon size of nacho cheese. This isn’t the 1st time either. I use to go there and get the chicken bowls same ingredients each time and after 3 different times being charged 3 different prices I stopped going there. My daughter talked me in to going there for the nachos and I will never again deal with this place. On top of everything the food is just OK

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Worst food we’ve had in a long time. My daughter loves Mexican food and got a chicken burrito. She could not eat it as It was flavorless, soggy and tasted terrible. I got a chicken tostada salad bowl. Equally disgusting. And the food was expensive. Please do your self a favor and go somewhere else. Your palate deserves it.

The Name says it All it really is good food. After spending two hours in mall my family and kids were in need for quick dine. We decided to for Mexican food. The Salsa’s presenting a very appealing look inside the food court. we ordered Shrimp and chicken tacos along extra side order of guacamole. Our order was prepared within few 5-7 minutes and the food taste blow my mind. It was simply divine. The juicy chicken, Shrimps and freshly prepared guacamole quickly disappeared from our plates. The price was very reasonable and food portion was good. One of the best Tex-Mex food I ate in a long time. I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy the taste and freshness.

Just stopped with my husband for lunch on Saturday and my experience has been the same every time we’ve come to Salsa’s. The food is always hot, fresh and good, the service is quick, and the entire staff has been very attentive. The food is flavored so well and the taste is so authentic. It shows that the owner is passionate about the freshness and quality of her food. I also catered from them for my daughters graduation party and everyone there just loved the taste of the food. I’ve visited this place at different times of the day and my experience has always been excellent. You simply have to stop by and try the food!!!!!!!!!

I have to say, I have ordered from this place several times and each time the food has been delicious!!! The ingredients are always fresh. I have had chicken tacos, nachos, shrimp salad, taco salad and my favorite are the black beans!! People love to leave negative feedback and I just wanted to change that. I appreciate them for their efforts!
