It’s a lovely Mexican takeout restaurant with outdoor only seating. I got a tamale and a side of beans for a really good price. It was very flavorful and I enjoyed it very much. The staff is also very friendly. If I lived in this neighborhood, I would be become a regular here for sure.

totally delicious. chicken tinga is amazing, portion sizes are huge and affordable. the salsas are indeed locas- try the creamy jalapeño. i would buy bottles of that stuff! very friendly staff as well, they made us some special eggs to accommodate an allergy and it was awesome.

Incredibly good burritos. I had stopped by a couple years ago when they opened but recently tried them again and was impressed to see they’ve even gotten better. Great selection of meats, high quality, fast, reasonable price.

So glad to have Salsas Locas in the Reed/Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood! They have a ton of options to choose from, whether you want something “small” like a taco or a meal for the whole family. The jalapeño salsa is my favorite, and so far I’ve tried a couple different tacos, tamales, and a taco bowl. All have been great! Take it to go or eat on their heated, covered outdoor patio.
