Filipe is an amazing manager, truly could not ask for a better man to run it.
I’ve never had a bad experience at the restaurant unless Lupita is involved. She has terrible attitude and acts like anything ask of her is a chore. Doesn’t want to be here.
I recommend eating here 10/10 just ask to avoid lupita. Paula, Sappie, Sammie, Nico, end eveyone else are great people!

LOVED the food, my family came her for a Christmas dinner and the staff was so polite and accommodating to our large family gathering portions were large enough I was able to bring home leftovers, they got a couple of our drinks wrong but no one really cared since we were such a large group

I have visited this restaurant several times and it has the typical fare that other Mexican restaurants in the area offer. During my latest visit, I order rancho viejo which is a steak, chorizo, and potato mix served with rice and beans. It was good and prepared quickly. They do have a bar and offer happy hour drinks and other specials, if that is your thing. Good place to get Mexican food.

I think many may forget about Salsa’s Grill. We live closer to Kandella and tend to eat there more often. So we’ve rediscovered this place as well. Haven’t eaten there in years till April 2021. Went on a Saturday night @ 7 and was worried because there were only 8 customers in the whole place (it soon began to fill so we must have arrived at the right time ). Food is on par with most all similar restaurants in town as far as names, portions, and price. See pic of their Avocado Diet. Same name, look, and taste as Kandella’s. My family and I have eaten there at least five times in the last month. Including the evening of Cinco de Mayo! Every time has been a good experience. Food is fast and plentiful. Drinks never go empty for long, if at all. I’m a big boy that likes to eat and tend to get the “Big Burrito” everywhere I go. Their Don Burrito (aka Burrito Oso and Big Burrito at other places) IS HUGE!!! This big boy got three (3) meals out of it! . This place does not have a bar like Kandella’s but definitely worth it for the food if that’s what you are after. Parking lot is kinda small and will appear to be packed but it just seems that way. Even on Cinco de Mayo, we parked on the side in the back. Walked in and there were plenty of tables available without being right on top of other customers. Give it a try!

When I come to Jonesboro this is one of my most favorite places to eat. The service is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. The food is amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is here in town. I always look forward to coming into this restaurant and having an amazing time. Thank y’all for the amazing experience.

Service was nice, kept my drink full and got my chips and tortillas to me fast. Food came out quick, hot, and delicious. Waiter was friendly and made sure we were took care of. Wish I coulda left a bigger tip. I work in food so I appreciate the little things
