Salsas Cocina Daytona was created with the idea of bringing a new, modern Mexican experience to the Middleburg area. We carry the flavors of Mexico together by featuring region-specific flavors in our unique menu. Dishes such as our Mole Poblano originated in the State of Puebla; Carnitas reflect the State of Michoacan; and Mole Verde from Oaxaca.
This ingenuity carries over into our extensive selection of handmade margaritas and cocktails.

We had a terrific afternoon with their delicious, fresh and steaming hot lunch specials.
Great decor and wall paintings. A definite must try!

Food was decent, atmosphere is nice, but the place was practically empty and the service was lack luster. Took 10 minutes to be greeted, then another 15 mins to get our drinks and 45 mins waiting on food. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. We always go to Salsas in Palm Coast and it’s amazing. Thought this would be the same, but it wasn’t.

Met a coworker at the bar! We were greeted warmly by the bartender who introduced himself as David. Immediately we were brought chips and salsa and were given tips on ordering our favorite types of food. David was so helpful and even understanding when we were unsure of our selections. In the end I’m happy we ordered the shrimp tacos as he recommended! We will definitely be back and hope David will be working!!!

Some of the best Mexian food I’ve ever had. Absolutely no complaints. The meat was melting in your mouth as you ate it. Definitely a go to place!

Salsas is hands down one of my favorite places! The food is amazing but what truly sets this place apart is the bar service. David is absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and incredibly skilled at what he does. He makes every drink perfectly and creates such a fun atmosphere at the bar. You can tell he genuinely cares about the customers and the experience. If you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and great service, Salsas is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Went for taco Tuesday today 2/17/26. Got seated and our server never came to greet us. After 15 minutes of not being serviced, the host came to take our orders. The server who was supposed to be taking care of us, walked past us numerous times, checking on and serving her other tables. She even served the booth directly next to us, that was seated AFTER US, and still no concern for us. She asked us once how we were doing and that was after her checking on her other tables 3 times. There was also a male server there, didn’t get his name but he was really nice and checked on us numerous times, got our drinks and everything. We weren’t even sitting in his section.! We were blatantly ignored by our server due to us being young black women. I promise I will NOT be back!

Food is incredible. Authentic. This is not some cookie cutter mexican fake restaurant. This is the real deal and you can tell, it’s run by family and good people and they treat you as such. I am local and come here all the time and love it every time I have

The chicken platter is excellent and so are the birria tacos. As for the carne Asada….that’s a different story. My wife could not cut through all the damn fat to get to the meat. Ask yourself if you like the meat or the fat? If you like gummy and chewy fat lubricating the inside of your mouth, go for the carne asada. I am sorry, but I do not feel like I should assist in blocking my arteries. Stick with the other platters.
Also of mention is the rice, too much cumin! Not a huge fan a cumin. I like a little, but not a whole damn seasoning bottle of it.
Service is good. Somewhat busy place and overall pretty good food outside of the rice and carne asada.

Stopped by here after shopping at Tanger Outlets. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and I must say this was the most flavorless Mexican food I’ve ever had. The meat in the enchiladas had no flavor and was extremely bland. There was no sauce served with the enchiladas, and the bean paste didn’t taste good at all. Overall, it was pretty below average with bland, tasteless food. Avoid this place if you’re looking for decent or even average Mexican cuisine.

The chips were warm, crispy, and fresh. They didn’t come salted which is nice because you can add as much or as little as you like. The salsa and queso were good. The food was good—the shredded chicken chimi was a good portion for the price point. The super loco burrito was really good, very big, and the steak was tasty. The kids menu was decent and they loved the crispy fries. The space is open and clean, and the service was friendly. Would return.
